Help peltasta build

I’m enjoying watching The Last Kingdom a lot and reading bernard cornwell, so I theorycrafted a build when I was taking a shower which is similar to a viking (lol), It would be something like Swordsman>Peltasta>Barb>Barb>Barb>Dopel getting peltasta only for block attribute and survivalbility, barb for the aoe and frenzy, and doppel because of Deeds of Valor, I want to know if the debuff from deeds is a huge deal or if the block chance from peltasta will roll over the debuff, berserkers dream.

I know I would lose 50% crti damage not going for Highlander but I think this is not supposed to be a dex build

I cant tell you about buff / debuff, but i have tried paltesta barb c2 (i havent gone further) and it works. weapon and shield with taunt and Seism is just broken.
If you are not going dext you could try to mix hiplite for extra skills.
