Help on build (There's a min of 15 characters required for titles? Didn't know.)

I’m not 100% sure on a build, after seeing some videos on dievdirby it’s tempting to make one (Though they ruined owls by making them 25 second duration 50 second cooldown on ktest >.>)

I’m planning on taking Diev C3 & Miko, since i’m taking miko I thought, why not take inquisitor since it has melee installations. (Kagura does bonus damage for them) making it not a complete support class end game, more of a party support and solo damaging.

But that’s were I get stuck, Diev can go either physical or magic attack with owls benefiting from magic and a skill i’ll rarely use benefiting from physical (Rest don’t matter). Levelling will probably be easier taking int for the initial levels for the additional damage to Heal and Cure however inquisitor skills benefit more from physical attack rather than magic (likely going to stay the same for rank 9/10).
If I go physical attack then I could always take monk either at rank 7 or when it becomes available allowing for double punch to act as a filler while other skills are on cooldown. (Post damage revamp each hit does 157% at level 5 meaning about 3x the damage I’d do on basic attacks.)

I don’t plan on going full support but there’s several utility skills from Diev I like (plus i named my character IKillTrees)
I’m just not 100% sure on how to approach it.

One possible build would be Cleric C2 > Diev C3 > Miko > Monk C1 > Inquisitor but i’m not sure whether or not that’s 100% viable or if there’s a better alternate option.

Could always say eff it and go full CON XD
^^^^
That was a joke but i’ve realised until the damage update (meaning stat resets) that probably could work, most of my skills are magic so with a decent Five Hammer the bonus from int would be negligible.
Still need to know what’s best for post update though.

Are there any magic related classes at rank 7/8 that’d benefit from Miko? (Clap for instance.)

Replace Monk 1 with something else (plague doctor or kabbalist are nice). My Inquisitor is CL 2 D 3 Monk 1 Kabb 1 Inqu 1, the Diev part is doing well. If you’re not playing full support you can just get statues to level 5-6 for duration = cool down. Owl, Ausrine, and World tree maxed, warp statue level 4 and leftover to Carving (level 5)

Many people underestimate Carving, while I actually have good time spamming it. Sure the damage is not high but it’s triggered to Wheel so you can get free woods materials + free damage. I almost never restocking this way and this skill basically make me just pick Double Punch level 1 in Monk filler and can chaining combos with Palm Strike + Hand Knife. Iron Skin actually helping to not getting knock down on Sialuai bosses (letting Owl statues do DPS)

Since you’re doing Miko anyway I believe Nekorin’s build guide should help you more… That is my character and not the best choice for most people…

Actually, they said in the future patch notes:
If you consider that you can increase your attack by about 1000
through your level and STR/INT stats, the total percentage occupied by
the attack of your weapon is more than 50%, reaching up to more than 70%
when enhancement/transcendence/gem values are applied. This percentage
can increase even more if you choose to invest in stats other than STR
or INT.
So if you ditch INT/STR your damages will depend mostly on your weapon and other things, not your stats. Meaning you can go CON, SPR (small negative status resistance, and saving from SP pots (cheapskates unite)), and/or DEX if you feel like it.
But after the patch, note that blunt weapons will not only give both MATK and PATK but we’ll also be able to enhance them both. So it’s actually easier to be a mix of PATK/MATK cleric than having to be full one and ignore the other.
You can upgrade some STR since you’ll focus mostly on your physical damages with Inquisitor, but your MATK will still be viable as long as you work on your weapon.
And until the patch, to level, you can go INT since anyway they’ll offer resets once the patch is out. But my Diev 3 - Miko was mostly CON and she had no problem killing stuff. Although their skills are all static so it’s honestly not the fastest way to kill since you need to gather all the mobs first.

Miko’s Kagura skill is channeled, so note that you can’t do anything else when using it (I just wanted to make sure you know about it).
Clap only benefits Diev afaik. It’s pretty great though, having several Owls at once…

For rank 7 if you plan to do a lot of PvE and support, Priest’s Res is always a good skill to have.
Kabba would be nice for R7 and the SP regen/HP bonus. It’d be more of an utility rank, but it would still fit well with your build. R7 is pretty fun at R8+ areas.
PD for negative status ailments protection/cure, again if you want to support (Miko can cure with Gohei but you need to be close to the person, and it doesn’t prevent them)

@rveins You don’t need Iron Skin to not be knocked down when you can be invincible with Ausrine (a)

Kagura being a channelling skill is the reason for inquisitor, otherwise I could go any physical or magical based. (Magic based not using kagura)
Since breaking wheel and Pear of anguish both act similar to installations kagura can be used after casting them causing them to do large amounts of damage.
Monk was more just to give filler attacks while stuff is on cooldown.
Probably just go kabba, PD would benefit more if I went bokor (Hex > Pandemic > Effigy)

Ausrine has cool down, either safety zone or Iron skin is used for filler when nothing else to do (during Ausrine on PvE it’s basically chain all Inqu+Monk skills+Carving then other statues once it’s off)…

As I said there are just many “for style” skills in my build…
