[HELP Needed Please] Lv 70 Priest Stuck Leveling

Good Morning/Afternoon Fellow Saviors :smile:

I Know sadly this is a common question seen by everyone everyday in-game chats or on forums posts… :pensive:

I’m currently a Lv.70 Priest spent 99% of my time Solo-ing (since nobody wants to party up)
with no problems (takes longer time killing bosses though, around 10-20mins?)

i’ve cleared all the sub quest available listed on TOSBase
talked to all NPCS on all maps with “Recommended Levels”
TRIED Grinding but it’s hard since there are people ks-ing
TRIED partying people near my level/area/quest but they keep declining

Have been doing the Lv.50 Party Dungeon when i have no where to go, people just party and leave after (no socializing chance) becos i was hoping to get some advice from whoever is kind enough to chat

I’ve Seen some people over the Lv 100s and i wonder how what/how they do it, hope people who are reading my post can offer me their kindest advice, below are my statistics ;

Lv 70
6k Hp 1.8 Sp
Stats are with Gear Boost : 40 Con 40 Int 60 Spr
Circle 1 Cleric Heal 5 / Cure 1 / Safety 5 / Deprotect 4
Circle 1 Krivis Zalciai 5 / Daino 5 / Zaibas 5 (Got this for the +5 Buffs)
Circle 1 Priest Aspersion 5 / Resurrection 1 (Class Lv.12 6 Skill Points Un-used cos saving for Circle 2)

I’ve Seen the post with replies “try grinding at maps at your level” , “get a party and grind at maps +/- 5 your levels” , or etc etc…

But I’m really having a hard time trying to enjoy really…

Thanks for your time reading this post and really… your advice would be really valuable to me and others

Grind non-stop no matter how slow it is :ok_hand:

Game becomes more grindy later on anyway, so might as well get used to it and make your body chemically enjoy grinding before then.

Plus it takes longer to level up the higher you are anyway, and I’m sure many people are having the same problem and needing to find grinding parties. So you just have to find those same people. Then persevere and grind away. Plus quests give good exp, especially if you complete all side quests in every area before going to the next.

Thanks for the kind advice,

as i’ve said that i’ve tried to party people on the same map/area but all i get was declines or silent treatment

Ironically i chatted with this [Barbarian] guy who was hacking away at the monster like they were paper, he told me it’s better off grinding alone then to party when i asked for his advice, so i was thinking…

  1. i’m a burden cos i kill slower
  2. i wouldn’t be looking for a party if i’m not having problems…
  3. i want to enjoy this game with others

majority of the community in the game are kinda anti social…

Yeah, I notice that a lot of people don’t talk. (unless, its on the shout chat)

I tried striking conversation on them but meh, they just sit there, doing their things and run off.

Seems most of the anti-social people are the only ones that paid attention to the beta key registration.

That’s the problem… we can’t really enjoy the game when there’s no interaction among players…

Again: hoping someone to share their leveling experience for the cleric class would be nice

Well, priest by standards, have the hardest time leveling since they only got auto attack and it’s gonna get boring and monotonous. I was a priest c2 in icbt1 so yeah, it’s hard.

Finding a team of chatty and lively people would get rid of that boring routine.

^ @Huerin Really hoping this game has good bot protection . . .

RO had this problem for a while at first !

Oh, IT will happen I assure you.

I really think it should enforce a drop in/drop out public party when your in each map, or at least close enough to each other.

Though yeah, if you want people to party there needs to be incentive. All you gotta do is look at something like diablo3 currently. You get massive exp boost and item drop rate boosts for grouping and sticking close together.

In ToS? You start splitting exp 2/3/4/5 ways. It’s simply not worth partying cause you will slow down and there’s not a lot of mob density. The couple classes that can kill super fast don’t want to party cause, as said it will cut into their own exp. Doesn’t help those classes have good built in aoe.

This game will die if there’s no major party bonus and/or your forced to just mindlessly grind with a basic combat system.

I ignored many people by mistake and got ignored myself too. The chat is just horrible, most of the time nothing in my chat bar loads, I have to tab through the chat windows to get my chats updated and sometimes it loads my chat from yesterday (wtf?) if it even loads anything at all I’m not the kind of person that checks my chat often when I play and I notice a number next to my whisper chat pretty much all the time but I simply can’t click it and check the messages. Also tried whispering the people that sent me a friend request, which I can’t accept, telling them: Hi I don’t know if you can see this message but I’m just letting you know I can’t read yours.

Also the party search is quite stupid right now. If this all would be fixed I believe it would get a lot easier to find people to grind with or just chat.

Friendq request is still not working , so that definitely is a big bummer. You can’t track of your buddies in this way.

And most parties that I encounter have theirs set to private. Very hard to join

Then we have the steam overlay getting in my way when I type in chat

As a circle3 priest, I feel you :frowning:

Try grinding the Royal Mausoleum, and make sure you’ve done all the quests. at 70 you should of completed

  • Tiltas Valley
  • Rukas Plateau
  • Zachariel Crossroads
  • King’s Plateau
  • Gytis Settlement Area

If you’ve done all those, and are still lvl70. . . you’ve missed a lot of quests. If you’re close to 10lvl’s below the mobs, you’re questing in too far above your level. You’ll miss quests you don’t meet the level req. for.

@xFeur
Yes I’m done with each and everyone of those quests you’ve mentioned

Was always following by quest level via TOSbase’s database
Made sure I didn’t miss any and would always go back 1 map to check before proceeding the map after…

As mentioned I have been soloing most of the time
Since we clerics do not have over kill bonus exp like the others…

Hmm, I’m around the same level as you, lvl 71 barbarian. I’m doing some story/side quests but I’d be more than happy to party with you and level together. It all depends what server and time zone you’re on though > <.

@aznlazibum

Hey Thanks for the offer!

I’m from Singapore the timezone is UTC+08:00 playing on Server: Zemyna
i usually play around 10pm onward which is the same as 10am Server Time for 4-6 hours

would i be able to party with you? :neutral_face: fingers crossed

I’m extremely confused how people are lvl 100 when I’m stuck at lvl 70 as well. I mean it took me an entire day to make it 5 lvls past 65. How are they getting up there so fast? It’s already slowed down so I though it meant it should be even slower?

@vagrantblade

i saw a Lv.120+ [Barbarian] yesterday before i logged off, was trying to ask him for advice
but all he did was just walked away from me…

Jesus christ man. I thought being around lvl 100 was high!

I work full time all week and i am level 58, been playing 3 to 4 hours a night. If I was not working and had the time I would be 100+ too. levelling is extremely fast. dps cleric kriv2 here. I am full int.
