Help me pick a rank 7 & 8 for Miko build

Like many people here, I’m excited for the release of Miko to iToS at some future date. I was wondering if I could get some advice on how to finish off my support Miko build.

My path so far is: Cleric 2, Priest 3, (Miko when released). My stats are 130 CON, rest into INT. Here is the skill build I plan to have once Miko is released (Miko skill allocation open to change):

A few things I think I should mention are that this build is meant purely for PvE, with it being used most often as a primary healer/support for dungeon runs.

I know for certain I don’t want Plague Doctor or Taoist in this build for a few reasons: (1) I already have another character built entirely around PD and I don’t want to make another one, (2) I seem to get partied with other PDs a lot due to them being so popular and with incineration only being able to be applied once I end up missing out on a lot of other damage or utility options, (3) This build doesn’t really have enough debuffs to make my incineration worthwhile compared to other PDs that have Krivis, Bokor or Diev in their builds, (4) Miko and other classes like Oracle can easily enough replace PD’s Bloodletting since I don’t need to worry about debuffs above level 1 for the most part since this build is purely PvE. The reason against Taoist is that I’m cheap, pure and simple lol. I hate how much of a money sink it is.

Here is the first build I am considering. Highlights of this build:

  1. Safety Zone, Gohei & Counter Spell to mitigate damage.
  2. Heal & Mass heal for healing power.
  3. Magnus Exorcismus, Hayama & Last Rights to take advantage of Miko’s additional damage with holy attacks while dancing.
  4. Oracle’s skills for debuff prevention, more SP/Stamina & some PvE fun play with resetting, etc.
  5. *Special note on the 0 Aspersion with lvl 5 Aspergillum - I have an Aspersion gem which satisfies the Aspersion lvl 1 requirement in order to get the Aspersion enhance attribute without having to waste any skill points.

Here is the second build I’m considering. Highlights of this build:

  1. Cleric 3 for maximum heal tiles for rank 8+ and Guardian Saint for tricky situations.
  2. Krivis to provide team support in the form of increased buff limit, HP recovery at boss fights (& acts as additional debuff for PDs in party), Zalchai for debuff and magic amp, Zaibas for a little bit of damage.

The third build I’m considering. Highlights include:

  1. Carnivory, Hamaya, Gohei, Cure & Exorcise for damage.
  2. Safety Zone, Gohei & Sterea Troph for more damage mitigation. Transform for Merog Shaman unlimited Safety Zone that Cleric 2 attribute applies to. This build kind of puts extra emphasis on stacking as much damage mitigation as possible with a little damage from Carnivory added.

The fourth and final build. Highlights:

  1. Kabbalist’s skills are Holy damage, which would receive a buff from Miko’s dancing.
  2. Almost 100% up time on Ein Sol when used with Divine Might to increase HP by 200%.
  3. Number skills & Double Chance for a bit of DPS.

I would also be open to other builds people have in mind that might work for finishing off this build. Or if you think a mix-and-match of these options might be better, such as Cleric 3 + Chaplain or whatever option you think would be best. Thanks so much for any advice and insight!

how about inquisitor? i heard they are good with chaplain so you could go chaplain>inquisitor in rank 7-8.

Malleus is a great debuff and a magic atk too, wheel can help you dealing with large aoe

There are lots of miko question atm which is barely something that we can’t make a guess

Interestingly, you took the same planning build with me for 1st build. albeit it’s not int type.
I made some questions to point mainly for your first build
-will holy skills like ME,merkabah, revenged sevenfold enhanched with kagura dance?
-Even it does, you need to chanelling with kagura dance which can be interrupted if you take damage. worth the trouble?
-how much damage last rites and kagura will boosted with kagura dance?
-what skills that can be extended with kasiwade? Have we confirmed it’s diev status only?

1st build has problem with buffs overlimit but can be solved with scrolled daino from pardoner.
except for the 1st build, the others are pretty much lack on ailemts prevention(Which is also major reason why ppl takes PD)
I also wouldn’t suggest second build if you’re going DPS. inquisitor or tao with krivis offer much more DPS

I couldn’t say much for 3rd and 4th build sorry. But druid shines on c3 which you can’t take if you took miko on r6 while kabbalist is pretty good for SP battery and WTF-revenged sevenfold for PvP(Yes, it’s beast on PvP or GvG, okay on PvE)

Edit: if you’re not taking the attribute ein sof which is purely for hp increase, I think it goes well with cleric c3 guardian saint attribute that will come
Edit 2: Was meant to reply to thread or op… Apologize for this

Kagura dance is supposed to add +10% holy & physical dmg per skill level.

lvl 7 is quite manageable with broom & divine might, and +70% holy dmg is well worth it.

Keeping it up will be annoying, and imo taoist still stands out as dark sight should enable that with ease for the full duration.

@whiningwillow:

  1. Don’t grab oracle imo, I’m not even sure the dmg is high enough solo with it. Inquisitor & Taoist are much safer bets with still good utility and damage. (and less buff overwriting to boot)

Missing out on counterspell is a bummer though, but with missile hole filling that niche it won’t be missed as much.

  1. Never use krivis for daino only. Not worth it. Cleric3 also still seems subpar, wait till we can test it properly. It’s likely just 15 redirected hits which is quite weak on it’s own.

  2. Missing out on druid3 is a no go. Likewise miko’s clap only works on diev statues atm so it’s of no use yet for that combo.

  3. Kabba2 is crap. Incredibly poor dmg and the utility/support has to far to low range and long cd.

Imo stick with one of these two:

  • Cleric2/Priest3/Chaplain/Miko/Inquisitor:
Relies on MM’s debuff and plenty of holy dmg to deal dmg. Stone Skin + Capella in terms of defense and plenty of utility.

  • Cleric2/Priest3/Chaplain/Miko/Taoist:
Mostly for the miko+taoist combo. Storm calling will be huge if enchanters ever become popular, but it’s not too great on its own.

@MrFioz @Megiddo_Yggdra @wurmheart

Thank you all for the valuable insight you have provided! I have found all of this very helpful. I will look into some of these options in more depth. I hadn’t considered Inquisitor since 3 of its 4 skills are physical attack, but perhaps I was too quick to overlook it and misjudged its usefulness.

I hate admitting the usefulness of Taoist with Miko lol. But you’re very right, Wurmheart. Darksight would be very beneficial for Miko’s dance, the cost to run Taoist just kills me though. @_@ Maybe I need to just loosen my death grip on my virtual wallet and get over it. xD

im planning on c2 diev3 miko pd2 build atm

I’m also running a similar build but like this> Cleric2>Priest3>Miko>Oracle>???

I’m considering Krivis for Daino since there are so many buffs, but what’s with the taoist and miko combo??? Can somebody explain? And does it worth having Taoist for that reason?

@Wurmheart

Taoist’s dark sight is a 1 min per skill level aoe fade circle basically. It allows you to use kagura dance while avoiding agro for the entire duration.

Kagura Dance & Stormcalling both increase physical melee dmg as well. Though the latter is rather short. But +120% or +155% physical melee dmg is still nice.

And all talisman skills are either objects or circles, so clap might work on them later as well.

What do you think of the cleric 2 krivis 3 miko PD taioist?
