Help me Chose the Class: Against Magic on PVP and PVE

INTRODUCTION:
I want to make a Monk
I already did cleric > cleric > diev
On the Rank 5 I become a Monk! But I am in doubt about what class to chose on Rank 4.

DOUBT:
What class to chose on rank 4 based on the best Buff for PVP and PVE and why:

Option 1:
Diev 2

  • Carve World Tree that silence enemies on a area; and
  • Carve Owl that protect yourself from the attacks of enemies in front of you, up to 90 blocks.

or
Option 2:
Paladin 1

  • Resist Elements: Temporarily increases the Fire, Ice, Lightning, Poison and Earth property resistances of you and your party members and has a chance of nullifying the listed property attacks. Decreases the magic defense of nearby enemies on cast. Up to Property Resistance: +49 during 85 seconds!

You Think Resist Elements of Paladin is better to fight against Cryomancers?
Or you Think Carve Own is better to Guild Battles?

Thats not what carve owl does. It doesn’t protect you. It shoots a aoe forward and 90 blocks is its hp.

Just FYI the skill description is bad

Oh I see. I dont knew, yes the description is really bad.
So the Carve Owl Statue is not a Buff, but a Attack, and It remains attaking until reach 45 seconds or receive 90 hits right? And Attack is based on Magic Attack. Thanks, now I understand. Good against PVE.

So the problem here is

or

What of this Buffs are Better, Specially on PVP?
(I accept for opinions from everybody).

If you’re planning on going Monk, I guess the more popular build between these two options is Cleric 2 > Diev 2 > Monk > Whatever.

As for PvP, frankly speaking I don’t really know which is the better. I am myself doing a monk but I didn’t follow your path. I think there are better person to give you advice so I will refrain from saying things that could be bad.

But I think Diev 2 is better… I think…

I haven’t been a monk but diev has been great for pvp and is frequently used on ktos. But i cant give a comparison to pally as i have never tried it.
