Help for PvP (Some PVE) Doppel Build | S1>H3>C1>D2

Hello,

I saw a few people mention that this build is good for pvp (and possibly pve?):

Sword1>Highlander3>Corsair1>Doppel2

  1. How would I go about placing the stat and skill points for this build?

  2. Is this a good build for wanting to pvp sometimes and pve sometimes?

After reading some guides, the standard stat build seems to be 4:1:2 or 4:2:2, which would best suit my needs? As far as skills go, im not sure how to go about choosing the best ones.

Thanks, sorry new to this game and trying to figure out what kind of doppel I want to build. Also, I checked the stickied thread/search to find this build but couldn’t see it.

This is also what i’m aiming for, i’m a newbie too, maybe we can help each other.

I posted a topic about this too but no answer so far =(

My skills is like this: http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/5k4hofbjkw/

For me, i’m gonna do some PvP just for fun, most of the time will be on Pve, so I’m going for the 4:1:2 stats, if you’re gonna do more pvp i think 4:2:2 will be better.

I’ve been reading some guides and topics, and the say that on total for PvP, 30~50 con, and 100+ dex, rest in str

Why do people think Sword1>Highlander3>Corsair1>Doppel2 is a good PVP build?

Literally the only decent cc from this build is Iron Hook and it runs on a 25 sec cooldown. If you’re only doing 1v1 PVP then you might pull off the Iron Hook at melee range and finish your enemy during the 9 sec duration. Group PVP? You’ll be cc’ed once you use your hook because you’re a sitting duck when you use it. When it’s on cooldown you’ll get smashed.

Highlander is geared more towards PVE whereas Barbarian is geared more towards PVP, with 2 stuns, swing, +50% crit buff for burst dmg, etc.
Even if there are plague doctors around countering stuns, at least Barbarian has a better chance at PVP due to its hard hitting skills. Heck, even Rodelero c1 has Montana for stun + slow, shield charge for disrupt and shield shoving for 1.5 sec disable for PVP, not that I’m recommending it or anything.

If you’re using this build primarily for PVP, I would reconsider. Cataphract is still king in PVP due to movement speed alone

Ok thanks, I guess I will have to do some more research to find a build that suits me.
