[HELP] Feeling a bit stuck after hitting 330, what to do now?

So I recently reached max-level (330) with my main character and I’m in a little bit of a slump. I’m not sure how I’m suppose to progress (Getting gear, Money etc.) and what I should be focusing on. I feel like I do subpar damage, mainly due to lacking equipment but also due to not having invested a ton in my attributes due to being very low on silver.

I tried soloing Crystal Mines Mercenary Mission for materials, which went fairly well until the last boss-fight. I feel like I painted myself in a corner with a main that needs some heavy silver investment, and I’m caught in the loop of needing silver to make silver.

So the question largely boils down to Have I screwed up? Do I have to make a new character? What can I do with my current build to make silver, get gear? What gear should I be getting/focusing?

Here is my current build (Full STR), Equipment and some minor stats that might be useful:

I faced the same issue, altho invested so much into my Dopp, 20kk worth of att, got my prac weapon +11 and even tranc stage 1 but farming HG 320 felt punishing due to hp/mp pot spam that cannot even keep up and forget about the cost

I made a new Char, cleric, C2/P3/Chaplain/PD2, i can easily farm there now for drops, i can aoe as many mobs i can gather and 0 downtime 0 pot usage and much better killing speed aoe wise.

Id say create a new alt to use for farming like i did, but since i like it alot its my main now.

Also do your prac quest and get it.

I would prefer it if I didn’t have to make another character, since I don’t have access to “New Player Event” and I’m done with the “Returning Player Event”. But I will keep it in mind, I was hoping for some directions on what to do with with my Doppel.

You can try farming 320 HG in party, some party shout for it in varena.
Or you can try farm 315 mats and sell them on market. It gonna take some time with 2.5patk, but doable.

well your best bet is to join HG 320 grp runs and get lucky with some drops, also you can solo 140 dungeon for silver and drops there but as SW will be slow.

and lastly you can farm 315 mats and sell them, not sure what else you can do tbh, we are very grp oriented till we get some heavy investment into gear and att then we can do decent such as 290 solo and so on.

oh you can also do saalus and sell shards, thats 300k silver each day if you just aiming for silver for now.

How do I get better gear, what gear am I aiming for and what gear should I get until I get the “best” gear? Weapon, Armor, Bracers and Necklace.

For Silver I basically do:

  • Solo 140 Dungeon
  • Do 320HG (Hunting Grounds, right?) with a group and hope for lucky drops.
  • Do Saalus Mission for 300k~ a day (Selling blessed shards I assume?)

You guys keep mentioning farming materials, where do I do that?

i suggest you make an alt since u seems like to have a lot of playing time

make like 2 new character and level them up to at least 240(for saalus)

u dont have to grind for level just do dungeon runs and merc post missions till they hit 240

you could make them shop characters like a pardoner or squire

or an active farming character like a linkerthumaFeatherfoot or a SR3(i heard this one is really good for soloing anything and fast farming materials)

Yeah, I will make some alts to casual grind, but it will take some time. I got a ton of good suggestions on Silver-farming so now I just need to find out what kind of gear I should be aiming at short term and long term.

both pevordimas or purine pevordimas is okay until you get best gear. i prefer purine if the price is <15m on market, more than that buying blue pevordimas+blessed shard is more preferable for me.
Aim for average 4k patk, it’s usually achievable between range of +11~+16 anvil and transcend lvl 3~5. note that extracting transcedence will give you 90% blessed gem back and weapon destroyed, but it’s short term weapon anyway right :joy:

oh almost forgot, if you do bossing like solo mission, better invest on glassmole card too

I solve this by making a new character. But now I’m at my last (12/12), who is around 225. :scream_cat:

I don’t fight the last boss in crystal mines I just quit the moment mobs in the totem area stop spawning.

does it takes 3 to 4 months to complete a full gear per char? i feel hopeless when getting 315 orange weapon recipe.

This is what i’m talking about. New/Returning players are getting to 330 too fast without game knowledge. It’s an advantage to us old players for the fast levelling shz <3 (Who wouldn’t want that, I dont wanna suffer 1 month levelling 1 toon to 330) With the current events and shiz you could level a toon (assuming without down time, fluent with the queues) in a day or two. + especially imc is giving a lot of instance reset vouchers / one entry vouchers.

Advice:
Make a new toon. Any build, it’s not necessary. Just do it for the runs. You get to run saalus twice, ET twice, Dungeon twice. With token you get to run dungeon 6x, 6x the gold 6x the fortune. =)

Unfortunitally since the game isn’t actually completed yet, we do not have a true end game experience, since IMC said max lvl will be 600 something, we have a long way to go before we have stable and rich end game content.

If you are against running ALTS, here is what you can do on your doppel for silver/advancing:

Practo quest is the first thing, get the practonium and make a gale slasher. Gale slasher is enough to carry in solmiki, you don’t need sarkmis.

Dailies, do your dailies, saalus/sialuia/290 dungeon. Even at max level, sialuai will still give 150k for 3 runs, saalus can give up to 300k for 2 runs, 290 can give 150k for 3x rushes.

Saalus shards will slowly add up, for stage 3 trans on your galeslasher you will need 200 shards, which isn’t that much and shards are cheap now too.

After done your dailies, farm 315 materials, even you aren’t using them. Yellow leafnut tails are an easy farm and 400DPK, which takes an hour to get. So 1 hour for a ~800k~ item, sell to market for silver.

Unfortunately there are no instant ways to get a lot of money anymore, apart from practo alts. Most silver now-a-days is acquired from small doses daily.

Consider doing uphill aswell, for gem abrassives to get your gems to level 8.

or make alts to 317 to become practo whores

TBH all equips will become outdated when r9 is patched. The best is temporary quit and wait for R9 contents.

I’ll share mine…

I also made a dopp… same build as you have… felt the sp consumption way high… i dont have practo weapon yet and still using 170 orange weapon… yeah… that one suck for me… (pardon my language.) but I made the dopp for the purpose only for ET and noting else… hunting wise… i have different alts… and no main yet… still finding my main… I am also tired of grinding for silver and farming saalus (im only tired if we get a 330 1 rank class they always quit and show up for just the loot) so yeah the games has it’s ups and downs… and lately sleep has been coping up to me and letting me rest didn’t even touched the game yet for 2 days because i was sleep deprived so much on leveling 6 to 7 characters its already taking its toll on me…

So if you wanna farm… and you have compensation items from emergency maintenance etc… level an easy to farm character… and leave your dopp for et… and saalus… other than that… your call… :smiley:

That’s throwing away an awful lot of progress and silver that would make re-gearing at r9 quicker/easier though.
