Help deciding between c2>p3>? options

Hello Cleric friends :slight_smile:

I’d like to start by saying I did not play the beta, and have been trying to learn as much through the game and forum as possible. English is not my first language so please be patient :slight_smile:

I would like to play a support. I want cleric 2 and priest 3. I am unsure of what to finish my build with. Ideally it can PvP and PvE, without being a burden to either.

My options:
Cleric>Priest>Priest>Priest>Chap>Cleric>PD or Kab
or
Cleric>Priest>Priest>Priest>Krivis>Cleric>PD or Kab

I have been told chaplain is not good for pvp, but that full support without its ability to help with damage might be bad for pve. I am also not sure of PD or Kabalist for final. PD seems to have more utility and looks more popular at the moment. I am unsure of what skills to take from it.

Judging by what you want, seems like your options are limited.

So you want Cleric C2 and Priest C3, and since Kabbalist is not really that good, PD is your final choice for rank 7.

So you’ve

Cleric C1 > Priest C3 > ??? > Cleric C2 > Plague Doctor

Which means, you only have 1 option to choose.

And since most classes in the Cleric tree need 2 Circles to shine, means you either pick Chaplain or Krivis.

Now, Krivis offers more dmg, more buff slots, hp regen/crit buff, debuff.

Chaplain offers a Capella, which casts all of your Priest’s buffs (Blessing, Sacrament, Monstrance (Dex Buff), Stone Skin, Aspersion) which has a 60 seconds duration and the buffs lasts for 35 seconds at max rank (which is 5), so you’ll have those buffs for a 100% uptime, Last Rites and Aspergillum which scaled from the lvl of your Sacrament and Aspersion respectively, so overall, it’s like a Priest C4 since all of the abilities from it requires skills from Priest, hence why it’s a hidden class.

However, ideally if you pick Priest C3 you maybe should pick Chaplain, and if you want more party play and support then Cleric C2 for Rank 6.

Stat wise, 4:2:1 INT:SPR:CON or 4:2:1 SPR:INT:CON

the first one for higher healing/dmg, the second one for better buffs.

I believe I will take PD over Kab, so my main decision is between Krivis and Chaplain. I have read that some people do not like Chaplain, while others seem to. I know I can use Daino scroll, but not in pvp. There are so many conflicting views on Chaplain that I am unsure of its usefullness. I suppose I can research more before deciding which is better for pvp support.

Oh, well for PvP Chaplain is really bad apparently, but for PvE it’s a really nice typical support :smiley:

I wonder if krivis provide more benefit, with the buffs and additional buff.

I Had To make the Same decison, I think going for Krivis Has More value than chaplain because of daino , but its just my opinion
