[HELP-BUILD] Oracle vs Plague Doctor as support

Hello everyone!

I started playing a couple weeks ago and never really settled on a build / character. I’ve been playing a cleric for a few days and am about to hit rank 5. I made a cleric because I really liked how Oracle looks (lol) but it seems Plague Doctor is just better for support. Would going Oracle as my rank 7 be a detriment to my ability to support at endgame? The build I’m on path for is C1->P3->Kriv1->C2->PD/Oracle

Honestly I was all over with a build and already feel like I messed up but I do think it’s salvageable. I wasn’t planning on getting both C2 and Kriv1 but after reading multiple topics stating C2 is a must for the titles I kind of decided to just do it.

Any input would be appreciated!

if you wanted oracle you shouldve done somethign like this

Cleric2>Krivis3>Oracle>PD

if you want preist just take out krivis for priest
oracle c2 is bad which is why you take orcle>PD.

is it for pve or pvp?

this is what they said when i mentioned i wanted oracle for pvp( trying to think of the future and hoping for fortune teller to be a decent class)…

c2/diev3/oracle/kab | c2/diev3/oracle/PD wanna be an attacker?
c2/p3/oracle/pd supporty way out. much healing, much tankiness. much cancellation.

i am sure it is also good for pve :o it is just you will have to buy daino scrolls apparently. right now mine is only at p3 half way to c2 i am also making a c2>diev3>oracle>kab lol

if anything definitely take c2 at rank 5 then decide if you want krivis still or maybe have both oracle and pd. If you are worried about the scrolls maybe make a krivis character and see if you can trade the scrolls in your team storage( if you have a token)?

Thanks for the input! I’m definitely taking c2 next. I actually don’t have P3 yet and went Kriv for my 3rd stat up so right now I’m C1-P2-Kriv1 basically. Looking back I shouldn’t have gone Kriv but at the time I didn’t know of the existence of Daino scrolls :frowning:

I kind of want to reroll and start over but the thought of leveling support to level 120 again seems really boring lol…

I do think this character is salvageable. I’d be at C2-P2-Kriv1 with 2 more ranks to fill in. I was considering Oracle > PD like @BlueByu suggested or even Oracle > Kab.

I have done it, it isn’t too bad especially because you already know where you are suppose to go and do what you’re suppose to do. I have 3 characters atm chaplain level 151, diev level 127 and the c2>p3>oracle>pd lvl 90 atm XD it isn’t so bad once you have done it once, it also helps if you don’t mind buying the pardoner buffs.

I’m currently a oracle 2 and I tested with a PD. Technically PD has the best status immunity skill and additional healing skill. It also has a damage dealing skill. Oracle has a tone down status protection and depending on situation maybe better or worst then PD. It also has the almighty counterspell which in oracle 2 can shield pretty much your entire guild. Good for tower protection and destruction.

The difference between PD and oracle status protection is:

PD blood letting:
Up to lvl2 status protection
Immunity for 55s
Takes some damage every second (insignificant)
Cooldown 60s

Oracle prophecy
Lvl 1 status protection
20 blocks (lvl10)
55s duration
Cool down 25s

Most disable skills are lvl1. Freeze stun and sleep.

The things is ground base dots like cure are also status which can wipe the 20 blocks in second.

However if it’s for general protection against statuses like freeze or stun, 20 blocks maybe sufficient and can be refresh it every 25s. On general PD is better since it has no counts. But there will be a 5s gap.

As of ktos in team battle league, PD bloodletting has been nerfed to 27s duration and 80s refresh. This only affects battle league for now so normal gane play and gvg is not affected.

If you want best of both world, a oracle 1 plus PD is nice since the GAP can be closed by prophecy and u still get a 13 entry counterspell.
