Help build for DUO~ (swordsman + cleric PVE only)

Hey all!

So my BF and I downloaded ToS and just hit like level 8 but I started reading a lot of forum that deciding on the build ahead of time is really important because no respec at the moment.

We plan to play this about 3-4 times a week, work and schedule permitting but we’ve hit the wall of confusion with a lot so far. I know we should look more into builds ourselves but I thought for a DUO, what is good for a swordsman who likes to be a dps’er (if anyone plays FFXIV, he loves WARRIOR on there) and I of course chose cleric to support, but I do enjoy being a dps/healer of sorts.

(read cleric > Kriv3 is a good one but how does it fare if we are duo’ing since i’m not familiar with swordsman)

Dps swordsman isn’t that great currently but if you wanted high dps then choose one of these.

  1. Pelt hop 3 corsair dragoon or hop2 cor 2 dragoon
  2. Pelt hop cata3 dragoon
  3. Pelt barb3/ highlander3 fencer 2
    Keep in mind that he won’t be dealing the same damage as archers and wizards because swordsman class is hybrid dps and tank.

As for cleric… You weren’t specific on what you wanted so I can’t give you anything

For Support DPS Cleric - Cleric Diev - Diev - Monk - Monk - P Doctor
For Swordie Swordsman - 1 Petalsta 1 - is a must <<<< then after that he can decide from here. - ?? - ?? - ??

Ah well I wanted to be a dps/support cleric, definitely be able to heal when needed but as a duo group and also damage for the most part.

Yeah i mean, hybrid dps/tank is just fine for him~
so it looks like Peltasta is a must.

Any builds anyone have we can follow for these? i miessed up on another character putting skill points into the ones i shouldn’t have, and while we are only lvl 8, we can easily delete and rebuild new ones to input the right skill actions and save the rest for others i am thinking. (If that is how ToS works)
