[HELP] Area Specific leveling guide

first here’s my cbt experience:

so i managed to get keys on the second giveaway and didn’t have much time to try and test the game properly… my plan was to super rush speed level (just click3 any npc’s with flag i bumped w/o reading too much text) just one char til the test end, soo i decided to make a wiz wishing i could get up to rank 3, up to when the server closes but then i’m stucked on the mines w/ purifier quests. the monsters were just too powerful for my current lvl (lv.15 i think) so I just went on this first grinding area where there are mny ppl (near 1st purifier inside the mines) but the exp rate is too slow, thinking i won’t make it in time, i just created multiple chars: archer, swordie, and cleric then if i got to that purifier area ill just stop, i was successful to lvl them all up to that point, w/ cleric, being the last i created barely getting there since the server closed. reading some random threads on the forum, i realized i may be doing sumting wrong, i didn’t even know there were repeatables and haven’t seen any “blues” monsters they’re talking about

what i need:

  • any map specific guide like where i shud stay at for ex. lvl 1-10 go here, 11-20 here etc, i don’t even nid a detailed one, just an idea on a location best to roam when i’m at a certain lvl

  • best map to party

  • solo strategies

  • grind spots

  • blues? spawn locations

  • money farming coz i think ill nid to buy or craft pots at some point even i hate using one

P.S. I enjoyed swordie and cleric class at the starting lvls since their z atk is splash and fluid.

advanced thanks for pros who could spare tym and help :kissing_heart:

  • Have you done sub-quests? They are hidden, so you have to talk to every NPC and interact with any interactable object to see if there’s a hidden quest there. Some sub-quests are repeatable for a certain amount of times (ex: fetch 6 of x item 10 times) and there may be a different reward when you complete a repeatable for the last time.
  • Basically every dungeon and some field maps are good places to level up should you run out of quests to do. The more the maps are crowded with mobs, the better.
  • The blue shiny monsters are kind of rare. Pretty much just depends on luck whether you find one or not. There are also white shiny mobs which give a lot of money, and gold shiny mobs which gives tons of drops. All shiny mobs just spawn randomly.

how bout town npcs, do i need to talk to everyone since that can be quite tedious, but next time i play i will try 100% area exploration and will be talking to all npc and what, there are objects that gives quest? i didnt know that thanks…

Town NPCs are an exception as far as I’m aware.

With cleric I beat Mirtis within the first 2 hours I think, around level 15. You just max int, heal/cure and you’re set since a lot of the bosses in the mines are weak to holy attacks. Of course, that means I went into the Tenet area severely underleveled xD. Keep in mind that if you can keep up with a low-level game, you’ll always be able to do quests since they’ve removed the level requirement.

Other than that, here were the general leveling areas I used:

1-26 Quests :stuck_out_tongue:
26-30 Panto Warriors at Gele Plateau (SE room)
30-40 Tenet Archers and flowers at Tenet Garden (center hallway)
40-45 Tenet Chapel B1 (stroll around, don’t stay in one room)
45-55 Veja Ravine (the weak mobs that spawn in the western room)
55-63 Golems at Akmens Cliff (right by the statue)

Everything’s miles better with a party of course. AFAIK blue mobs spawn everywhere, even on empty maps (I found a few while exploring).

I feel like what you’re asking for is way to specific considering we’re in closed beta.

no, just a general guide on where to go based on level, just to have a clue whether it’s viable to fight a specific monsters in an area according to my level, since most 1st batch beta testers have gone above 100+, maybe they could share some of their experiences, and i remember just now… we have this adventure journal, can we use this as a tool to find appropriate quests or just a record of accomplishments and rankings?

this kind of post is what i’ve been looking for, now, if there is something like this for pyro or elementalist path…still, looking for up to max level guide

Every class follows the same general path that Greensburg posted. You will have trouble finding a guide to max because very few people made it past level 100. The top level person was 102 I think. Given that max in icbt1 was 200 (if I remember correctly) and overall max is rumoured to be 500-600, you are going to have a near impossible time finding a guide for higher levels than the one posted. ):

The adventure journal records your progress through the game, for example how much you’ve explored, how many different types of monster you’ve killed, the loot you’ve collected, etc.

Does this mean after finishing every quest you talk to that npc again to check for repeatables? Or is there an easier way to spot this. Thanks for that info btw!
