How bad the P2W truly is? Is it game breaking or something what is barely noticable.
It’s noticable, sadly. You can market shop items for insane in-game silver gains and use those gains to literally buy the best gear the game has to offer. How does this affect you? Not much, not yet anyway. In PvP it will and soon in the World Boss revamp you might not get anything out of world bosses when wallet warriors come and snatch the kill under everyone’s noses. Most people don’t really care about the pay to win, because it’s fairly limited in how far you can push a character. Even with insane gains you can’t solo ET for example. You can’t “grief” other people with insane gear. Not yet anyway.
How is the PvP? I think I’ve seen some 5vs5 arena. But that was pretty much it. Is there anything else?
Right now there’s 2v2 and 5v5. Guild wars were in the game but removed, due to being a joke and being exploited on. You can also go to war with another guild for funsies, opening PvP in every map of the game. Only GvG in the past used to give players free TP. This was removed because guilds started forming alliances and “win trading”, also making guilds with 1 person in them to forfeit on purpose. It was a joke.
PvP overall is also a joke. There is almost no class balance at all.
Is there any class which is considered as completely useless and trash?
Not really, every class has its uses. However you can make “costume collector” builds that have 1 circle of every class and that would be ultimate trash. Right now though there are a few classes that have almost no combat utility like Alchemist or Oracle, well good ones. A lot of classes that are good for shops and crafting, but outside those functions they are trash. Some classes have 1 or 2 good skills and rest are a broken mess.
Is there any class which is considered as most OP/easiest and half of the playerbase plays it cause of that?
Cleric.
Is there any endgame content? If yes, what is it? PvE or PvP, maybe both?
There is no end game PvP. There is end game PvE which is Earth Tower. It’s not hard, just requires heavy time investment. Think of making 1 or 2 items will take you 30 days of your life, non stop, farming in one instance, over and over and over again and some runs can take up to 2 hours (Solmiki) and you do 2 of those per day.
Are the servers still lagging as before? I remember very laggy servers and random FPS drops a year ago.
Nope, but “”"“fun”""" bugs happen from time to time and channels do crash.
I love classes with high attack speed and decent burst(damage numbers flying all over the screen and stuff). But after watching tons of gameplay videos on YT I couldn’t find anything like that. Any idea ?
SR on Archers and Corsair on Swords. Clerics have PD2 for large AoE damage ticks and Wizards have Elementalist for big AoE burst.
How much does ping matter in this game? (got around 20-45ms)
A lot, especially if you want to attack fast. How fast you can attack depends entirely on your ping and attack speed stat.
Does the publisher listen to it’s own playerbase and maybe implements from time to time some good suggestions? Or everything is copy paste from KR and they literally don’t care what anyone thinks about the game.
Exactly as you said. The international playerbase is often ignored. For example the Leticia “pay to win” cube was added to our version despite a huge chunk of the playerbase voting actively against it. Only Koreans are listened to I’m afraid.
Overall… is this a competitive game or it’s more about leveling to 330 in a week and then sitting AFK or maybe doing boring daily quests.
No daily quests, just daily dungeon runs. You can never AFK as there’s always too much to do, depending of course on how many characters you make but you’ll never find yourself AFK due to “nothing to do”, but you will find yourself AFK for being “burned out” for doing the same Saalus day in and day out for some stupid shards that are end-game.
Honestly, would you recommend this game to someone who plans to invest around 7-8h everyday into playing it.
If you have that much time to waste then yes. You’re one of the few people out there who can get to end-game gear without any real $ investment. Most, if not all, high tier equipped players simply use botting / multiple accounts / cash shop “marketing” / gold buying / guild features etc. to become filthy rich. For everyone else, there is the dailies and map farming for raw silver and hard to get DPK drops.
Getting rich isn’t hard in TOS. Staying rich is.
