Hell Bringer Wizard build

First of all, this is the build I have in mind.

Basically it focuses on Linker’s Joint Penalty and Hangman’s Knot to grab a bunch of enemies together and burn them with Pyromancer’s Fireball and Flame Ground (Yay for arsonist), so they all can share each other’s pain.
(Yay for sadism)

I got Sorcerer on the 5th Rank because I like the idea of controlling bosses (Yay for megalomaniac). But I don’t know if their damage, allied with kamikaze Familiars would be better than upgrading Fireball, Flame Ground and getting Fire Pillar (on a 2nd Pyromancer circle)

I’d end if with Necromancer (Yay for disregard for life) to shoot dead people on a bunch of sitting ducks as I send my Shoggoth and Skeleton Soldiers (they should help me do some critical damage, right?) to kill the poor ducks even faster.

As for Stats, I’m thinking about having SPR>INT>CON, or SPR>CON>INT.

Would this work? Should I give on Sorcerer? Is 2 ranks of Linker too much?

Wouldn’t take 2 circles on linker, you are going to be able to pull 3 more enemies but you are wasting an entire circle just for that.

Even with 5, that is plenty, if you ask me.

I thought about that too, but also worried about binding them longer. It also doesn’t escalate well, but it’s still more time.

Youre trading a whole circle for another 3 monsters linked. Get only 1 linker. Also while they are bunched together and get hit by flame ground, they will only get another 1 hit from JP, not 4.

Would you get another circle of Pyromancer or change to Elementalist, maybe?

Yes, another Circle for Pyromancer sounds ideal.

And i’ve seen that exact build used by other people, x2 Pyro, x1 Linker, Sorc.

I’d go for elementalist. Pyromancer already drains loads of SP anyway, but you spend too much time on cooldown, since firewall is pretty useless, you wold only have two skills for damage. Plus, sorcerer is not the greatest demage dealer, so some of the elementalists skills would be useful for a long time.

Circle 2 linker

Pros : Longer lasting links, links more enemies, hangman has almost 100% uptime. Very useful for those dungeons with high hp mobs.

Cons : Spiritual chain doesn’t share every kind of buff. Lv 5 Joint penalty is sufficient for normal grinding.

I will not say it’s a waste, going for linker circle 2. It’s more on the supportive side, but you’ll be glad you went linker circle 2 at lv 130 hint hint
One thing I’d change though. Instead of getting enchant fire, I suggest buying the flame debuff attribute and getting flare for more damage output.

I’m getting scared of leveling up already hahah

I also could trade the 2nd circle of Linker and Sorcerer to get 2 circles on Pyromancer or Elementalist
