No MMO is complete without scamming and griefing.
This isnât against the rules.
Itâs kinda ridiculous if it isnât against the rules trying to fool and scam other people? I donât agree that these people should get a ban or anything, but maybe some kind of warning and if they keep doing â â â â like this multiple times, then ban.
Problematic behaviour shouldnât be encouraged.
It should definitely be reportable. I wholeheartedly agree that if you donât pay attention to what you buy it is your fault for not getting what you wanted. This is true in real life too. However it is obvious that the people selling these are maliciously using the system in a way that it wasnât intended to be used.
Saying this shouldnât be punishable is like saying politicians shouldnât be held accountable for abusing the political system or that dishonest businesses shouldnât be at least called out for bending/breaking the law for their own financial gain. I have to question the motives/intentions of anyone saying you shouldnât be able to report this kind of behavior.
First MMO I take it? Itâs never been a bannable offense, in fact, show me on the terms of service where it says this. Yeah, itâs a â â â â move, but people being gullible is an every day occurrence. Sucks fam.
Sure, itâs wrong, sure the one who did this is a douche. But if Iâm about to spend 900k on something, Iâll double or even tripple check before hitting that confirm button. I donât know if itâs me whoâs too paranoid, or if itâs other people who are too stupid. Unless youâre legit retarded, have downs or are blind, you shouldnât be falling for these obvious tricks. I mean, just looking at the name rings a bell, and looking at the level should ring twenty.
It only takes our greedy market to make it so memo gets removed forever. Truly feels bad.
LMAO Necro post here: Its great that they added a report button to the market board, Itâs a well thought out move and implies that the GMs felt it was necessary to have/ put in a system to deal with it.
10/10 Game management~!
