i’m farming Dawn Crystal Fragment to make a Phada. this material is expensive(300k each on Telsiai) and DPK is around 110-120(?)
The problem is monster that drops this material(Red Dawn Maiden) keep spamming Ice Pike and it doesn’t render any animation. and real trouble comes when you killed a red monster, yeah Frozen Statue festival
does this stupidity come from bug or devs intend it be to like that?

Sadly, might be intended. Mobs that can cast that spell do that all the time(much to our collective annoyance), save for the Loftlems in Main Chamber. Those used to have the same animation-less cast as the others, but was changed to what Cryomancers have, so they might apply that change to every mob that has the spell sometime in the future.
For now, I suppose you’ll have to make do with bringing a lot of dispellers or maybe asking an Oracle/PD to help you farm.

actually it’s not a big deal for me since i’m a PD2 but still, i think it’s kinda annoying
btw, silence from carve world tree doesn’t affect on this monster
you can go full spr to avoid the status effect eeuheuh
anti cold stuff might help, i tried farming those myself. Terrible, would not recommend.
nah, this build go for full int, spr doesn’t important to my build. btw pd has bloodletting which prevents rank 2 or below status ailments
