Have some questions about cleric/priest buffs

So as a normal unlucky guy i didn’t got a key. But im in the process of creating a Monk build, i know that the steparu diev seem the most popular, but im more tended to do a priest hybrid with buff. My doubt rely on how effective are the following buffs:

-Divine Might
-Monstrance
-Blessing
-Sacrament
-How out of body works
-How much diev Cooldown totem reduces

and if i chose the priest way it is worth it to get priest 3 to lvl buff to 15 or 5 is enough, how the buffs scale and stuff. And why people insist that diev is so mandatory ?

The build im thinking is something like it (Maybe paladin circle 4): http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/32qt63ffen/

I would love some insight from beta testers or players with experience thanks :3

Played kr cbt3; here is some answers:

  • Divine might applies to the next skill that the person who takes the square uses and the scaling to above lv 15 is extremely mediocre, since it has a cooldown you have to plan this skill around another skill but this is unreliable.

  • Monstrance is an amazing buff for any physical class, and also decreases phys defence, feels much better than blessing as that dissapears pretty fast.

  • Blessing feels weak, it only applies to a certain number of hits (extra damage) and requires an item to be used, frankly would rather invest in other skills.

  • Sacrement is a much better blessing since it will be applied to more hits over its duration and thus more damage in total than blessing.

  • Out of body releases your spirit on a tether in front of you, and gains damage, speed and range per level. If you are hit you return to your body instantly. This means that protecting your body (i.e. with safety wall) is a priority. On top of this any other skills that are not spirit related (e.g. Heal) are still coming from your real body, and will be placed as if casted there. The spirit has special three-hit auto attacks that are extremely fast, and you can also move very quickly. I highly suggest sadhu to clerics aiming to deal damage (although i’d go atleast r2). This skill has zero cooldown.

  • Diev cd reduction is 20%, but the skills are extremely buggy with latency, often they get stuck or don’t do anything, teleport statue is bad, sp statue is unneeded, cd statue is nice. Steparu I feel makes it look better than it is, but it is a viable class over bokor. Keep in mind carve only damages plant enemies now. Also keep in mind the wooden logs diev needs are heavy, you can’t carry too many.

I just tested Blessing and it turns out that attacks that hit multiple targets only counts as 1 hit of Blessing even though the bonus damage applies to all targets. For example, Aspersion hitting 5 targets will receive the bonus damage from Blessing on all 5 targets, but only count as 1 hit. Even better, having 1 monster run through all 5 tiles of Heal still counts as 1 hit for Blessing. On the other hand, each individual tick of Cure counts as 1 hit, so it’s not as useful for that spell.

Thank a lot guys! I think my buff monk might work need some testing, the sabdu was a thing that i had no clue how worked it looks cool maybe i get it circle 4 or maybe pally instead of priest 3, need some testing to see whats gonna happend, let’s hope i get a key for next beta or something. If anyone has any ideas or tweaks too my build im really opened to it.
