Has Anyone Completed The Collection for Crystal Mines B2F?

I’ve been farming Shreddeds on B2F of the Crystal Mines for a few hours with no luck getting either the Shredded Piece of Cloth or the Shredded Spirit Matter dropping. I’ve been taking out Vubbes while I’m at it and I’ve gotten a couple sets of Goggles, so it’s not a total waste, plus silver and exp, but I’m frustrated.

Has anyone finished the collection for this map? I worry that it’s bugged and the items don’t drop at all. Even on the tosbase wiki the image showing the items in the collection hasn’t seen them. http://wiki.tosbase.com/images/0/00/04_Crystal_Mines_2F.jpg

I’d like to know if I’m hunting for something that doesn’t exist.

Hello, no it’s not bugged, I managed to finish it by grinding 3-4 hours.

It’s about 0.1% chance to drop both item on shredded, don’t worry and keep grinding.

ps: Best spots are the two “hills”, the one next to the 3F entrance and the one on the district above it.
Every 20s, you have a massive spawn with 3 shredded

Thanks. Yeah I found that spot myself and that’s where I farmed it. All the mobs spawn there so you can get other items too. I got the goggles off of Vubbe Archers I think.

Yeah, I got half a dozen myself of those but since I can’t sell more than one item at a time at the AH that’s hard to get ride of :slight_smile:

If you need more help on the collections farming at the beginning I’m doing them myself right now

I killed more them 200 until now… nothing _ _

Finally got 1st one after 2780 kills, got 2nd at about 2950…

gm totally needs to up the % of drop rate… damn 0.1% is killing me…

I think that the “Shredded Spirit Matter” is so hard to obtain because it`s used in a rare item recipe and the “Shredded Piece of Cloth” is even harder to obtain because you can craft a unique item with it. So i think it makes sense. But it would be better if they would select an existing zone in Crystal Mine 2F where Shredded would spawn faster and would be a whole lot more of them.
