It actually is, without token, you have to deal with lots of waiting, while when do have token, can do things faster and more efficiently.

I won’t buy tokens with TP, neither with the actual price (3.8mil+), so I’m just one of many or some plebeians, I have to wait from 10-30mins+ to a single attribute complete the training, while with token would be instant.

Also, I can only sell 1 item per time in the market, I pay 30% tax + the selling fee, while with token I could sell 10 items pay 10% of tax + the selling, wouldn’t be better to allow non-token user to sell 5 items instead?
Also, I have to wait 1 day to receive the money from sales, while with token I could receive right after selling (they did changed to that right? I don’t remember right now), it would be better to make it 4-6 hours of waiting.

You can come and say, it’s to prevent RMT and gold sellers, I ask you, did it work? You see the spamming in the shout channel again for GS.

1:1 trade all the stuff I trade become untradable, would be easier to just lose 1 potential instead of that.

I won’t even bother with the movement speed, it’s not really a killer in fact.

I could work my way up to the value of a token, but seriously? This game doesn’t provide any fun, and I already have a job to earn money in my life, I’m not here to work in a virtual world to earn virtual money that could pretty much be all lost tomorrow or next month if the company behind the game decide to shut down.

As I said on other threads, I’m here to have fun, not to stress myself. If the game can’t provide me that, I will leave to find what I want somewhere else.

No it’s not. I have never seen anyone call subscription a cash grab, the advantages are there I admit that it’s not a perfect model but then again it should be advantageous no one would buy it otherwise.

It’s a very common thing to have in a free to play game. All games are made for business purposes. You don’t find games made to be some kind of charity for players to enjoy, they need to make money.

No I don’t, just because they made poor decisions doesn’t make it a cash grab. lol

Well, I haven’t found my money on trees, neither will feed it to the Tree, not until all this change to a decent way, for me, it’s plain and simple “robbery”.

Yeah cause I don’t think they justify a cash grab. It’s a free to play game lots of the things you mentioned are common, what do you expect.
The others are simply a terrible design that shouldn’t exist but it doesn’t warrant a cash grab.

Each and every single f2p game provides pay for convenience aspects. Even mobas which usually have better monetizing systems compared to MMO’s.

I wouldn’t say most. There are better ones and there are worse ones by far as well. I would personally put this somewhere in the middle maybe leaning to the worse side.

I mean in my opinion if we go by what you say pretty much all free to play games are gash grabs. If you agree with that statement I can’t argue with that.
But then again it would be pointless to complain about that cause it should be clearly known and no one could hardly expect a change on that.

Pay to play and buy to play are better options for a game and most likely they won’t be cashgrabs but a game as broken as ToS would never survive those monetizing options.

Happy birthday , I just uninstalled this shameful game called TOS and am going back to RO for indefinitely, unless TOS happens to improve like 200% in the next 2 years. After that I’m graduating from MMORPGs anyway, so I don’t want to spend those two years in agony waiting for something that might never happen thanks to IMC.

Have fun with the monthly loss of player base, it’s a monthly present for you instead of only once a year
