I can still see people complaining about them, I believe mine still remain as IMC does nothing, my HDD is ToS-Free long ago so I can’t and won’t check as it’s not required.
The game isn’t better performance wise, it’s just that there are 53k less players than before, my man.

If you have not checked the game, how can you say it’s still the same, and performance wise the game HAS improved, denying it is being a childish doomsayer.
By all means, I still don’t like the game in it’s current state. I’m playing it very casually.
But you can’t simply come back, not install the game, come to the forums and say the game hasn’t gotten better.
So… Take your act elsewhere. 
Plus, I forgot to address your statement that ToS lost 53k+ Players. Yes it did, almost 1 year ago. It’s history. ToS is a 3k pop game and it will continue to be until it dies for sure. lol Unless something very big changes.

ToS is not a 3k pop game, it’s a dying game which began at 53k and died to 3k and on going.
The game hasn’t gotten better, forum talks, people talks, ammount of people talks.

The game lost 53k pop in a couple months and kept around 3k pop for almost a year, hence my argument that the game is a 3k pop game.

Cause if you really read what I said, you’d know that I am not defending the game, I’m merely clearing some misconceptions you have about your unfunded argument. The game is better than it was, it’s not what it should be, but it is better.

Watch someone coming here and tell you to stop compare a big(?) company like GGG to a small one like IMC as excuse to have made a poorly designed game that had potential to even fare against PoE.
That is, if it wasn’t for the lack of imagination or may be better, lack of integrity and gave in to senseless greed and followed the KR development trend to milk money.

Game development companies will be lining up and pay him to pitch about how he managed to fail in almost every project management aspects so that they wont follow in his footsteps.

Hey you ■■■■ head, ToS is in a better state (gamewise) than when it was released. Just cause you are a hater doens’t mean you gotta be blind to the progress it made.
We lack player base though cause game was ■■■■■■ up early on, but it’s slowly getting better. Unluckily it’s slow though, too slow.

Like trash the game to the ground in every aspect as you wish and I might even agree but I just don’t see this one, like literally their monetizing attempts are so goddamn minor and none-existent. Oh they release gacha for 2 weeks one a month? Sometimes a set of c3 costumes (That are highly requested by the way since the early days.) Sometimes a set of hair styles or something other minor.
Do I really need to start looking into real cash grab MMO’s updates and make a compare topic to prove a point cause this is getting ridiculous. Our cash shop is an embarrasment for a cash grab cash shop.

The thing is not about cash grab or P2W.
It’s about 90% cash shop update, 9% useless fixes and 1% real updates.
Cash grab or not, iTOS is there mainly for money purpose, we can’t deny that, no one can, especially the ones instabuying those garbage cubes in chain and whatever costume comes out in the TP shop.
If the game was P2W purely (excluding RMT), which isn’t and that’s a good point, it would have closed already.
But then there is games like Elsword (EU servers) that are so P2W or inciting you to buy that still have a playerbase, even if it’s a low one.

A single item can tell lots, this Gacha and the Exchange Shop, although, it is the most idiotic thing they could ever implemented in the game for make money, of course, their aim is the so called “wales” that would waste money even if the only thing in the CS was a Bag of Crap Cube that roll useless things, just to feel important saying “I paid so I will do whatever I want”.
I have been saying this since iCBT, even gave a long suggestion with lots of details and items to be added into the game, that would definitely bring in more money than the actual design.
I’m not one to invest heavily in a game, but when the game deserve I do invest, PoE is an example, I already bought 2 of their package, it’s not much, but since the difference in values from my currency to theirs is pretty large, I won’t expend my hard earned money just to satisfy my pleasure on a video game like some does, and the money probably is not even from their work but their parents.
Anyway, I’m not here top judge anyone, its their money they do whatever they want with it, but as for the game design itself, there are things that should change.
If ToS end up turning another generic KR MMO then that is the potential of this company.
I’m still hoping they change all this crap they did and are thinking so far to something better, but my doubts about that increase with each month.

We can. Just because their management is so terrible they are unable to provide fixes and content on a reasonable phase doesn’t mean the game is only for the monetizing purposes when it only releases cash shop updates in a semi-regular basis. I mean no one would keep buying old costumes for a long time.
Sure, don’t get me wrong I hate gacha as much as everyone else and think it’s a horrible decision on their part but it’s hardly enough to call the game cash grab if you look at at the facts here.
- It’s off sale 2 weeks EVERY month. Real cash grabs have multiple gacha boxes/systems in place at the same time.
- Some of the best costumes in cash shop are not part of the system. (C3 costumes.) They even have effects and probably in high demand for some classes. Other games would put these in a gacha no question.
- Our gacha costumes get in the exchange shop for everyone to easily get without the rng element. Most of the other games recycle these costumes after a few month. This is not an optimal or great decision cause exchange shop is rather expensive but it’s in many cases better.
- Im not a fan of recycling shop but not all games have this and at least with this your purchase doesn’t go into waste as long as you have something you want from there.
I do too, I still stand behind that this game doesnt cut it as a cash grab tho.
