Hangman's Knot bugs fireball

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Use a fireball
  2. Link it to enemies
  3. Use Hangman’s Knot with AOE def ratio debuff turned on
  4. See nothing happen, they are all brought together to the same place but it’s like the fireball is not there.

Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Without the attribute it always works but it’s way weaker. Please fix, this bug has been around since forever I think.

I think you meant Hangman’s Knot, you may want to edit that to avoid confusion, IMC support already has some language issues, better be scrupulous!

What, how strange, I was sure the name was Hangman’s Knot, then I went to check ingame and saw Hogman’s written, found it pretty strange but fixed anyway. But now it’s back to Hangman’s lol. Is it the Mandioca effect?

You are using the attribute that makes Hangman’s Knot deal a bit of damage when you use it. This damage is able to kick the Fireballs just like a melee hit. The fireball is kicked out of the range of the other mobs affected by hangman’s knot, thus dealing no damage to them. If the fireball still seems to be close to the mob this is a pure visual glitch, they should be always kicked out of range with this attribute on.

Basically: turn off Hangman’s Knot damaging attribute and you’ll be fine.

But I had this attribute turned off at the moment I tested it, I’ve been having this issue for a long time now…
