It’s pretty simple still, wizard/cleric>gungho, guardian>others
Well even cleric has physical attacks like monk, chaplain and that owl cleave. Dunno about mages.
I cant be assed to switch buff in mixed pvp and cd wont allow anyways.
Flat 60 is insignificant in the endgame anyways. And you wont have enuf buff slot for it anyways in groups.
It’s still better to have 2 points put in gungho, than putting 2 leftover points on bash which becomes completely irrelevant after level 3.
You now have the choice on which one to use.
and let’s not go with buff slots, you know both guardian and gung ho take the same slot.
True had a brain freeze.
Temple shooter does physical damage as well as necro minions.
You know…that still doesn’t change the fact that it’s better to have both for switching than just sticking into guardian or no guardian/gungho in all situations.
to op sorry this became an argument with gungho/guardian, but I do hope you understand.
can someone here hook it up with a solid SW2>Pelt>Cata3>goon skill tree thats set.
I already put 5 in Gung xP someone else told me to do so, that’s bad in’t it?
Cuz you will use guardian with the evasion attribute instead.
I see, so that build is the running PVP goon build eh?
U can always just do sw3 cata3 which is the meta.
Why isn’t that build viewed more? Seems like this is the big goon spec http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/sdyn41jd5h/
I don’t really like that build cuz it’s based around hoplite. In PvP cata has movement speed and PvP eccentric attacks that are good in PvP. Hoplite doesn’t have movement speed, it doesn’t have burst. It has long stride which kinda blows atm. It has spear throw with bind attribute, but bind goes away in 1 hit. It’s a joke.
I’ve looked at pretty much all the builds there, and it’s basically all over the place. Easy to fool someone new to swordsman class, but can’t fool us who are regulars here and have actual swordsman experience.
I’m glad I referred to you guys then, however I got gung to 5 now so I feel like I screwed up. I have bash 5, restrain 5, pain 5, gung 5. What do you think I should do?
Any ideas? I can avoid a restart doing that right?
I don’t think you can avoid it to be honest since you don’t have concentrate.
Nah I do, I’m just going to have to get Pain 5 instead of Pain 10. I value Conc 10 over Pain 10 and honestly having Gung at 5 isn’t so bad for cloth classes. Agree?
Gungho will be nice against wizard and cleric yea. And you do have the option of using Gungho when you don’t need more defenses.
So it’s not that bad.
I actually fully skipped bash and went for PB 5, gung 10, restrain 5, Concentrate 10.
I’m really ok with switching between gung and guardian, and i feel like i won’t need bash. Also, PB has a good duration at lvl 5, most pvps are covered by a lvl 1 Pain Barrier anyways, so 5 is fine for me and i went for more utility.
Would i really miss bash that hard? I’m not needing it for leveling anyways.
You take it at level 3 for knockdown, that’s it, rest of the points are a complete waste
