Guild PROMOTION BOARD BROKEN - Not displaying corrective activity levels among guilds

Bug Description : Promotion board activity tab displays Forbidden as #3 in the activity list. We are #1, we have now at 10 in the morning 16 people on. Tornado which is currently displayed as #1, has only 5. @STAFF_Yuri

(Logged on after the maintenance. Noticed the discrepancy)

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Make Guild
  2. Invite members
  3. Become #1 most active guild
  4. Be betrayed by promotion board

Apparently, the statistics are updated weekly. I’m sure not every day. That means that last week Tornado was more active.

Was it changed from the first implementation of the board? Because all last month we were never toppled from #1 at any point, this continued well into the last week the promotion board was broken. Applications are updated instantly on that tab, so are team levels iirc… not sure why activity tab would do otherwise.

The update is not instantaneous, when you invite players, it does not show the change in the number of members, it seems to me that the activity is based on the journal and not on the amount of online, if so, it is useless to have many people connected if they are AFK

We have 40 people on sunday sometimes, theres no way its an AFK fest. If it’s going off the journal then that is very misleading, that is not a good indicator of activity, just an indicator of whos rolling new characters? I call BS, need the devs to chime in. We have 3-4 days a week ~30 on all doing the same event together. If that doesn’t count towards guild activities I don’t know what does… Applications are definitely instantly updated. I tested this. Before the promotion board broke, we were on the #1 activity tab for over a month. We got toppled once by dynasty, but recovered it later that day when more logged on for an event. I dunno… I’m lost.

Would be nice if all this information was laid out clearer than the promotion board newsletter.
