No worries! glad i could help! as of now the main seeds we’re trying to get is alfafa unfortunately i can’t find that seed as of now 
we’re going to try guild raids this saturday (unlocked at guild level 10) so we’ll see how that fairs for the time being and hopefully the rewards are good!
People from other guilds had told me the food to feed the pet can be purchased from the companion npc. Not sure if this is are you looking for. (Needs confirmation)
Btw, do you know how many pots you can make with one recipe?
Good question, never really tried it yet cause we didn’t see the need to.
Coming back to hamsters, if you are breeding them in the hangout before they are adult, they consume companion food which you can obtain via the companion trader. At this point, if you do not feed them, similar to seeds in the hangout, they will die eventually. They can last up to 16 hours without being fed and requires 5 days to fully mature.
However once they have become an adult and you have added them into your companion list, you will need another type of food to feed them. Companion food doesn’t work anymore. As I understand it is Alfafa that feeds these creatures, but don’t worry, if they are not fed after you obtained them as a companion, they will not die anyway. Similar to how a standard companion works.
