Guild Discussions. Wondering about Guild Specific Barracks

So I have been looking into this game a lot and I thought it would be fun to get in on some ideas. I know the game has guilds but I am wondering if anyone knows of anything where your guild will have a building that guild mates can just go in and be instanced to people of there guild and maybe the building allowed for other things other than just a cool hang out zone. Even though I think just the idea of a guild specific meeting building would be cool.

Anyway the real question is if it doesn’t exist. What would you think would be cool to see in a Guild Barracks. Some thoughts I had were like…

  • Bounty Board where players in your guild or outside could post jobs you could take to say grind a specific item or something.
  • Just have areas to repair gear and blab about your grinding journey.
-Guild Specific Auction House that allows your guild members first picking on loot you have found but are going to sell.
-Area to just chat and of course party up.

So just throw some ideas or maybe I have missed reading about some system that will make this post pointless but thought It could be a cool idea for now or the future.

That would be nice,I love the Bounty board idea for guilds because it give the guild more purpose.

That was exactly what I was thinking. I also think that lots of the top guilds could possibly compete in the economy and really show who is top guild not just in pvp and pve but in how many players like to contract them out.

I don’t think IMC has already made a statement about that… But maybe they’re thinking about that
Meantime, look at the threads talking about housing and guild system, you might find some other ideas that may pair with yours.

I was actually thinking about Fairy Tail myself but I was scared people never watch that anime or heard of it.

There’s a lot of little things that you could do to make guilds more appealing, but having a barracks, a guild-only area is one of the most comfy things.

Most games have a shared storage for things like free consumables (I could see this with a guild alchemist throwing some spare potions in there for guild use instead of just selling them all) but I’d love some kind of tracking to it, like what Elsword added which says who put in what items and who takes out what so there’s a log to keep track of these things.

Guild-unique party quests are an option but they would have to not give really good rewards otherwise it’d be “get in a guild or suffer” state which is never a good thing. Outside these things there isn’t really much to do, but this alone especially if you can customise the guild-barracks would be great.

I agree. The guild quest items cant be anything to good I really think the best items should be coming from crafting or dropping from dungeons and bosses. That being said naturally being in a party or guild will help you progress to finding the better items faster than other players. I like the idea that you can see who is contributing. Maybe then they should allow some sort of system where the guild leaders can see this and you can give ranks out to people in the guild so as you see someone giving a lot of time and resources to the guild you can promote them to reward the efforts they have given.

I like the idea of guild-specific stuff and would like to see Guildcastles that can be conquered by other guilds (like WoE). Also i would like to see a guilddungeon where the monsters and stages can be improved and expanded by the guild.
BUT i would prefer to not have instanced guildhouses for guildmembers only. What i liked about this certain old-school game and many other games was that guilds had meeting-points where they could show of their presence and interact with non-guildies. Thats what i wish to see again or if there will be guild-houses implemented, that you can open them to the puplic and sell your goods and services.

I think you are right. Maybe a room of the guild house ca be members only but the main room allows people to come in and maybe see things that show what your guild has done and members doing things.
