Everyone? Can you prove that everyone is doing it? If not, why do you claim everyone is doing it?
Also, if this is true then it hardly sounds like a bug, if this method is true then it’s most likely a hidden upgrade mechanic that developers did not want the players to find out. But i doubt it’s true.
It’s most likely a placebo effect, where some random guy tried some random ritual and it worked. That’s nothing new, in RO there were tons of such rituals, like running 3 circles around the upgrade NPC or getting buffed 10 times before attempting the upgrade. And none of them had any effect on upgrade rates.

Theres conflicting reports on reddit and here, when I saw this post this morning my 1st thought was “well if they are gonna let kirito and nulight crash every ch on Klaipeda for 3 months and dupe all the cubes they can get their hands on its about time I get a break on something”.
3 days ago now I failed 7 to 8 on a maga bow, then right away redid the anvil and failed 6 to 7 putting me back down to +5, I waited for some market items to sell and last night was able to go +5 to +10 without a fail, so when I saw this post this morning I though it might MIGHT be possible but unlikely.
So this afternoon using lv1 wpns to purposely fail twice I went 4/4 on avil chances above the nofail threshold on my max petamion and 1 of my sissel bracelets. Could be random luck, or maybe not idk, a few people are saying they have gotten 3 fails in a row, others say they are not.
If it is true it has to be from the ktos merge patch though b/c I failed 3 times in a row right before the merge on an superior corona rod, ended up with 4 fails in all to +10 that.
This is not true I tested it after reading this post. using bunch of lvl1 items
and it didn’t work…
have you tried it yourself? if yes and maybe I miss something how about you provide a proof… make a video.
