Guide to Fencer / Doppel / Bullet Marker [PVE]

Fencer excels in single target dps , yes? I was wondering why Frenzy seems to be frowned upon for them in this case.

because it takes too long to stack. the amount of damage you could have done by using Composee instead of stacking is just too big. It’s still an additional boost to your damage but for me personally (Sw-Pelt-Barb3-Fencer3) it just takes too long to stack.

Well the difference isn’t much so I would advise that you go over your attributes first, that is to say of course you like playing your Fencer because as we all know you can never refund your attributes.

I have mine on +10 with lv1 trans and honestly it isn’t much. :sob:
That’s why I’m so eagerly waiting for news for any new Rapier.

Eh, Lolopanther should be in your reach by now. Try to do ET or buy it

Can’t find any party for it, most of my guildmen have either quitted/on-hiatus, or just doing dailies. But yeah, I’m trying.

On an unrelated note, your fencer is missing you.

That’s a lot of tp costumes you have there

I now know who to nag for christmas presents

About christmas presents. I’m afraid Santa forgot about Fencer in this year. Why? Just look on new Solmiki weapons.

We have fancy swords…

…spears…

…even musket…

…and Fencer got this!

Well? Where is our fancy new rapier? Why we got crap look like 220 old rapier? I have bad feeling about this.

I’m really interested in building a fencer and just wanted some clarification around how versatile they are outside of melting bosses/single targets.

Some questions that I hope an experienced Fencer can address:

 • How well do they do in ET ?
 • If built with 7 AoE equips, can fencer’s skills splash or deal AoE damage efficiently?

Thanks in advance!

I bought them off the market man. lol. those hairstyles came from the event tp. only legit purchase I made was for Terius hair and Swordsman master costume. I’m kinda regretting buying those costumes, I bought them out of rage because my attributes almost cost the same as those costumes. Composee @ 70, about 800k now. lmao :sob:

Good thing IMC made alot of tp items tradeable via market, never gonna have to spend again.

@Suzushii at this point, I’m thinking we’re just gonna get a bunch of recycled and recolored rapiers. They should give us an Estoc model.

lol, the only costume i bought was male school-look uniform because doppel costumes are terrible

lol that was actually the reason why I spent tp. those horrible doppel costume

I’m actually glad we don’t have to bother with a new rapier,

at least until next month.

:tada::fireworks::birthday::fireworks::tada::fireworks::birthday::fireworks::tada::fireworks::birthday::fireworks::tada:

took me ~1day (around 600-700 kills per baff)
still wonders in which gloves to put it  thought about pairing it with iron hook skill gem but then changed my mind. Still not decided how to distribute skills =/

(also anyone know, dumplings gonna be removed at the end of event or only recipes/ingredients?)

While i’m still slowly leveling up, (only level 82ish so I still got a long trek), but went SW3, Pelt 1 so far.

So I want to talk about Fencer skills and which to take.

Epee Guard is maxed.

Attack Composee as high as you can manage your SP for. Really don’t know why they gave these skills such high SP usage.

Attack Coquille to me seems to be either 4 or 15. This is a fight starting skill, but it also has a really low cooldown so it can be spammed regularly.

Balestra Fente is either 1 or 5, to me dependent on if the crit resistance down effect is increased with levels, or just if you want the higher damage.

Preparation and Attack Au Fer seem to be 1 at most.

Lunge is interesting, which could make you untouchable for 4 seconds by physical attacks, but i’m still not hooked on this skill yet.

Fletch seems alright, but it has no attribute, and I hear doesn’t use AOE ratio well, so might be a single target nuke for bosses and I suppose PVP. 1 or 5 I suppose.

Sept Etoille and Esquive Toucher don’t seem worth putting points into. Flanconnade may warrant 1 point, but I’m not too sure on that.

Any recommendations? Maybe I’m overlooking some skills (specifically Lunge) so if anyone can put a good word in for some of these skills, i’d appreciate it.

Sept is still good because it’s got a high hit count. 1 point is enough though.

Flash is like Barrage, it just hits targets in front of you, whih kinda sucks. Other than that it’s a pretty good skill. It’s also has a longer reach than most of our skills.

I’ve actually decided to put a point into Esquive. Ye, it’s definitely not worth it. Takes forever for the damage to actually arrive. I’ll be skill resetting anyways, so I thought I’d try it out.

2 hits, high sp consumption, so lvl1-5 is enough
lvl 10+venier cost you 91sp but in damage and sp it even worse then using it 2 times for 45 sp on lvl1+venier

1strike* hit(no epee bonus) 8sec coldown, lvl1-2+venier = 7-8 duration so 3+ if you only don’t want to refresh it often
Balestra Fente
1 guarantee high burst damage, highest chance to get crit and not losing so much if you don’t (cause of only 1 hit), so I suggest lvl5
Sept Etoille
7 hits, the smallest chance to do crit with all even with 80%cap, and easily interrupted, so 1 is enough but if you have spare point it’s ok to put there
Lunge
4 hits, nice damage + cd + evasion bonus lvl10-15

but even following all this you have a lot of points to spare

Thanks for the breakdown and number of hits.

That always bothered me about those “demonstration videos”. They always use multihit skills on enemies that die in one hit so it doesn’t really show its true potential.

Tks but I must refrain from playing for a while. Assignments and part time job are killing me

Fair enough. Good luck with that.
