Today I wanna guide you what you have to do when you team up in TBL with a Bokor. I had to notice 95% of the people I teamed up with dont have a single clue how to cooperate with that class and simply do everything wrong they can to make things unnecessarily hard!
Hey, I am a Bokor and wanna do TBL, what shall I do?
I’d advice you to be at least Bokor2 to have access to all the skills you need to be effective, meaning Hexing/effigy, Samediveve and Mackangdal.
You kill with Effigy, run faster with Samediveve and get unkillable with Mackangdal (until it runs out, then you might die pityfully ;D )
So to be effective as Bokor, you get faster with Samediveve, hunt these people with Hexing and Effigy while being invul. from Mackangdal. In the best szenario you opponent doesnt have Bloodletting and its dead until your buff runs out. You better hide in your safety zone until that happens, you can go on effigy your opponent to death then ;p
Since the victim gets blinded from effigy, he will not see where you are when you keep distance. He might slash randomly then hoping to hit you, which is quite funny to spectate ;D
What shall I do when there is a Plaque Doctor around?
Your nemesis. Bloodletting will make the opponents team resist your hexing until it runs out, which will render you being a support until so.
Well… dont run around panicking and just wait it out. Mackangdal will help you with that, just make sure your team knows what Macky is (write a note beforehand). Oracles Prophecy will not affect your Hexing at all. The hexed people cant cure it away either (with cure, at least) since Hexing is a lvl 2 status (saw enough people trying already)
Oh my, there is a Bokor in my group, what shall I do?
The Bokor in your group is usually equipped with a strong heal and might want to heal you, so better stay near him. The funny stuff starts when the Bokor feels the need to cast Mackangdal on you.
Thats usually the case when an enemy is approaching who might kill you very swiftly or when you’re about to die. The dmg you take will stop then for 10 to 20 secs. Check the buff how long it takes until it runs out… because if it runs out you will die UNLESS you are in the safety zone.
And since, and thats for sure, the bokor dont wanna die either, he WILL cast a safety zone before the buff ends.
So if you dont wanna die… stay. in. there. Really, be cautious. I’ve seen so many people die not knowing why, just because they didnt comprehent the situation.
You can wrack havoc until it runs out, but WHEN it runs out, tail your Bokor.
Special case: There is a priest with revive around. Mackangdal + Revive is a strong combo granting you invul for at least 13 to 23 secs, giving you enough time to kill a lot and even outstall the enemies Ausrine buff if timed properly. Dont panic when you suddenly have only a bit hp left, just run back to your bokor you get a heal he better have ready for you then.
