[GUIDE] How To Ping ToS Servers Without Being Ingame

Long time ago, we were able to test ping of our servers by using ping [server IP] in windows command prompt. However, it is not able to do that for now. If you want to test ping, you have to login game to do that. It is quite annoying (at least for me). So here I introduce to you a way to test ping without entering the game.

I. PREPARATION
You need PsTools from Microsoft to do this. You can download it directly in here.
After finishing downloading, extract the package to somewhere in your pc (should put in a folder).

II. HOW TO USE - psping [IP:port]

  1. Open Windows Command Prompt at the psTools folder:
    a. For Windows 7 users:
Open the folder that you extracted the PsTool package before then hold the SHIFT key and right click, you will see the option “Open command windows here”. Choose it.
    b. For Windows 10 users:
For windows 10 users, if you see “Open powershell windows here” instead of command prompt. DO NOT CHOOSE IT. You have to open windows command prompt by opening start menu then typing CMD.

You also can right click on the windows icon on taskbar, choose Run and type cmd then Enter

Now copy the address of the psTools folder, for example:

and type in the windows command prompt this: (You just need to right click to paste the address)
cd [psTools folder adress]

2.Use this command to test ping:
psping [IP:port]

for example: psping 52.76.102.144:7001

.
III. SERVER IP AND PORT - Each server has 2 IPs but you only need 1

  1. Klaipeda:
    52.5.58.238:7001
    or
    52.4.126.228:7002

  2. Orsha
    52.4.173.251:7003
    or
    52.200.8.230:7004

  3. Fedimian
    52.58.92.141:7001
    or
    52.29.227.229:7002

  4. Telsiai
    52.76.102.144:7001
    or
    52.77.36.116:7002

  5. Silute
    169.57.142.20:7001
    or
    169.57.142.30:7002

  6. Varena
    52.74.147.200:7003
    or
    52.74.215.121:7004

Pardon me if this way is too long and complicated. Please feel free to share if you have any better method. :grinning:

Nice, but where are those IPs stored? It would be nice to ping jTOS in order to test my VPN connection <_<.

Tos folder/release/recentservers.xml
