[Guide | Full Healer | Sup | Magic DPS] Paladin Krivis PD

Yikes. That’s bad news. I already started and I’m now on C1>K1>C2. Invested in 10 safety zone. Is it too late to change?

Pretty much.

Safety zone 10 is overkill, due the +20 block from it’s attribute you rarely need to go past skill level 4. (As it’s rare to get over 30+ hits in 20s. )

You’d also partially or entirely miss out on cure/fade/divine might which is also not something i would recommend.

  • Cure is your best single target dmg skill, also has the 2x int scaling but higher hit count and deals holy dmg. Doesn’t hit flying though.

  • Fade drops all agro for nearby party members (and resets dps checks apparently) and prevents indirect hostile effects. Really nice for positioning and keeping non tanks alive.

  • Divine might adds +1 skill level for the next (1 x skill level) skills used by each party member. It helps out a tiny bit everywhere.

Which is why the usual cleric2 advice is:

  • 10 Heal.
  • 9-10 Cure for int builds, 1 for others.
  • 4+ Safety Zone, sadhu’s tend to take higher skill levels.
  • 3+ Deprotected zone for phys or spr builds. 0 For int.
  • 5+ Divine might, as that’s enough coverage for most skills.
  • 1+ Fade, Higher levels are good for builds that don’t break it by attacking or don’t attack much. (Support/dievs/sadhu’s.)

Feels a bit annoying to have to say this, but a lot of advice in the cleric forums just isn’t remotely helpful.

Most don’t know the skills well enough, some give advice based solely on a tiny segment of the game, others are simply far to generous and will say any build is viable.

Paladin advice is especially out of whack, there’s several threads of nothing but untested nonsense on it.

Krivis is the other problem child, to a far lesser degree, and is most easily described as a exaggeration of how strong zaibas, zalciai and daino are.

For int builds zaibas is the 4th best int cleric dps option, 5th if you count in chaplain. (Carve Owl/Possession/Effigy are arguably the top 3 options, but all have noticeable downsides.)

Wow. Thanks for taking the time to give such excellent advice. So I’m at lol 68 now. Do you recommend I restart? I actually just want one character that can heal if necessary in a group and do dps for solo. In other MMOs I liked being a healer a lot. But considering my schedule now, since I’m in law school, I need a viable solo build when I login at odd hours or can’t find a party. What would you recommend?

I do recommend a restart for that build, mostly due to the skill points used so far.

If you don’t mind a kriv/sadhu variant i’d suggest a build like:

But there’s plenty of other cleric builds that work fine for solo content, chaplain, monk, krivis, bokor, dievdirby and sadhu are all good options for it.

I’m ok with that the thing is, I had my veterans pack delivered to my currently existing character. So all the stuff on it is non transferable right?

Edit: never mind I did a skill reset instead. What should the stat allocation be? Also what kind of armor should I wear?

All premium items can’t be transfered as far as i know, well except the head costumes.

Stat wise, built towards 100 con and rest all int.
Armor wise, plate is generally best for the bonus health but cloth is a decent alternative. and try to use cloth gloves for the magic attack/magic amp stats.

Gotcha. Thanks. Will try it out.

Hi, I’m planning to build INT cleric>kriv2>paladin3>druid/kabbalist. Just want to ask if Paladin’s Barrier skill damage attribute is good with int build since I read that it’s damage scales with magic attack.

Junk, all paladin variations simply deal to little dmg to be worth mentioning.

It’s far better to focus on having sufficient healing and support. (Cleric2 + decent r7 option) You can work towards dmg better with r8+ anyway for str/int builds.

Hmm. I see. But another path I’m planning is cleric>kriv2>sadhu2>druid2. Even though Sadhu was heavily nerfed, I still prefer to become one. Is it better than choosing Paladin?

Sadhu’s require cleric2 period, a high block safety zone and fade are to important for that entire class.

Aside of that sadhu is still viable, just not as good as it used to be. A lot of other builds also can outperform it with much less complicated playstyles.

Sadhu2 however is really strong still, possession is just that op.

Paladin offers some very good support/defensive skills though, sadhu is more offensive. They’re both good, but in different ways.

You guys experience/think Divine Stigma is not working properly? I have it at Lv10 and it seems not giving the expected bonus it should be… it only adds 200 Damage to my skill attacks and around 100-200 damage on my Zaibas Lv15

If I choose to go with cleric2 over druid2, I will not have the Sterea Trofh which, I think, will be of great help too especially in late game. And also higher level of Carnivory. Oh man, I think I f*cked up. xD

Krivis is usually the easiest to replace in that build, you can still aim towards different builds if you already took krivis2 though.

And yeah Sterea Trofh is really good.

I already became sadhu. I think I’m going to pursue that druid2 path. Hehe

Thanks man.

What bout your attributes and gear? Could u add that in?

How is this build doing on PvP? Did someone test this? Coz I heard Krivis is not very good in PvP but this build has PD, so is he a plain healer in pvp with some damage? Another thing, did someone try this in ET? Is it viable for support or healing role?

my question why not take priest since most partys expect you to revive if you are a cleric? would the build be viable with priest in it

Hello!! I’m really want to follow this guide, especially by pala.
Some friends told me this build is not good enought to be a “support”. A priest would make a difference in the buff question?
Plague Doctor has focus in PVP, and I don’t like pvp, if I turn in to Kaba, it’s ok?
I just wanna be sup with good buffs and wearing pala’s costume XD
