[GUIDE] Archer Class Types

It’s a good option too.

With maxed Steady Aim+Swift Step(crit)+Kneeling Shot you have a very nice damage that works even if you don’t have SP anymore.

About Multishot, I’m not really a fan of it. Sure it gives 11 hits on level 10 and on this game multihits skills scale much better. But even with reduced casting time, it’ll take some time casting. What I’m trying to say is that it’ll work very well on parties, but you’ll probably not be able to use it well when going solo on maps with highly aggressive mobs.

right now im a3 s1

i wouldnt put points into con yet at all. you can save that for lvl 130 plus
i have 0 points in con still and i havnet died yet this game… but i do know that in cbt after you hit up later parts of the game, con is needed.

i would just pump your spr to what you want it. then start working on that 1:1 str/dex combo until you start to die off from being hit to hard, then work on the con till you feel like you wont get 1 shot by the upcoming hard bosses. around 150…

This is what im going with since I’m playing in a well diverse group

Hey guys, I’m a Wugushi main. I will answer questions if anybody has some.

i’m not 100% sure if poison cannot crit. I assume it doesn’t since its a DoT.

You assumed correctly, they cannot.

Some other common questions:

How do poisons scales?

Zhendu does not scale. Throw Gu Pot, Needle Blow, and Wugong Gu scale off of STR.

Do the damage attributes increase poison damage?

No, they increase the on-hit damage. Except for Throw Gu Pot, where the attribute increases the “poison” damage (Throw Gu Pot isn’t really a poison, it is more like a multi-hit skill).

Is the poison damage the same amount listed in the tool-tip?

No. The poison damage has its own values and scaling per skill point. The tool-tip value is the on-hit damage. The poison damage on the tool-tip is the same as the poison damage for Throw Gu Pot, however.

Does confusion work in PvP?

No. Most “disorientation” debuffs like fear, confusion, etc. do not work in PvP.

Do poisons from other Wugushi’s stack?

No.

Does Throw Gu Pot hit flying monsters?

No.

Does Jincan Gu hit flying monsters?

No.

Does Zhendu apply multiple times or just once?

Just once.

Does Throw Gu Pot spread Wugong Gu’s poison? Does Jincan Gu spread it?

Jincan Gu does, Gu Pot does not.

Guys, i’m a little confused, the guide says traps can’t crit, but my characterer:A2>Sapper 1(planning to sapper 2 or maybe 3, then i don’t know where to) actually crits on traps!!

I’m with 80 dex and 30 str, put a few points in spr, but i’m now really concerned, should i stick with my dex based? All my traps from sapper c1 are getting good crits, so, i just don’t know what to do, please, guide me!

Note: tryiing to build a good aoe sustain farmer

I’m interested in the Sapper class, so I decided on making an AoE archer based off STR scaling.

I was thinking of a 4STR : 1CON build because I was taking Sapper/Wugushi, they are just based off STR and don’t need use DEX for critting right?
Or should I go something more like 4STR : 1DEX : 1CON because I have Archer C2 and Cannoneer in the build?

Archer2:
I didn’t feel that Ranger1 or QS1 gave me enough to justify, so I wanted to grab Archer2 for Swift Step (Archer/Cannoneer crit) and Multi Shot additional hits (For bossing). Heavy Shot might also be helpful for respoitioning enemies around my traps.
Oblique/Heavy Shot are Lv1 for lower SP cost, so I can use them more liberally.
So dump points went into Kneeling Shot first, then I just threw the rest into Full Draw.

Sapper2:
Broom and Stockades are the best 2 traps right, that’s why I maxed them?
Collar Bomb is supposedly pretty good, although I don’t know what the “Set Up count” is on the skill description.
1 Point into Punji to make use of the attribute so I can abuse mobs of enemies.
1 Point into detonate to get rid of enemy magic circles. How many things can detonate get rid of at once anyway?
1 point into Conceal if I ever go PVP, I think it’d be helpful precasting traps.
Rest of the dump points into Claymore to make it stronger.

Wugushi2:
Got 1 Detoxify for the 20second immunity to poison. Pretty much just for those quest areas that consistantly poison you as you try to interact with objects. In normal PVP or something, I’d just rely on a plague doctor, or use an antidote.
Not sure how effective Zhendu is, so that’s just where my dump points went. I wanted to max the offensive poison skills instead (Needle, Wugong, Gu Pot)

Cannoneer:
Probably could have went Musketeer for better Single Target damage. But I like the idea of shooting things with a cannon. Is Cannoneer a good alternative though? Will my boss DPS suffer dramatically because of the decision to go Cannoneer instead of Musketeer?
I figure there are more grounded than flying enemies, so I got Cannon Shot maxed instead of Shootdown. I can also just use Shootdown to ground the enemies to use Cannon Shot anyhow.

Is this build any viable?
Did I make any large oversights on my skill builds? Did I skip a really good skill, or waste too many points in a bad one?

Oh, and how expensive are the Traps and Poison Pot Poison

With the Steady Aim nerf, is it still worth going Ranger 3 > Fletcher 3 or would Archer 2 > Ranger 2 > Fletcher 3 be a better option with the free crit rate?

Yeah you could do 4:1 str con or just 4:1:1 str con dex
you won’t need to lvl up claymore because the damage come from the base(300%)
just expend your points on punji stake
You can buy pine wood/ash wood from Dievdirby’s Master

How should I distribute my skill points (str:dex) to this build?
archer->ranger->ranger->scout->scout->scout->musketeer?
Or should I change scout from c2 for something else?
I’m rank4 currently.

Please, someone answer my question, i’m really confused, and can’t advance on atributes without a proper answer, actually i’ve got 80 points on dex and 30 on str for a sapper 2 or 3 build, but i’m reading here that traps don’t crit, buuuuuut, my traps are criting, so, it’s really confusing what should i do when i consider this fact… Please, help me guys!

Thank you for existing!

My question concerning the Wugushi class is pretty simpl,e but I’ve never seen it explained before: How does the Poison Pot mechanic work? I see it’s used for skills, but how does it actually work? How do you fill the pot? Do you have to keep on buying poison? How much poison is consumed by skills? How often do you have to refill it? Can you even buy poison? How expensive is it?

So many questions concerning the class, sorry!

Im also A3>S1, i really dont know what to go next though. I mostly solo but I want to end up with a good pvp build. Any ideas?
I really like QS3 but people are saying its too late since i took scout to be viable. So they suggest rogue to musk is my only option

Which traps are critting?

You can take Fletcher C3
Rogue>Falconer>Musketeer
or even wugushi C2 into any of rank 7 class
you also can go Scout C3 into any of rank 7 class(you will be spamming split arrow a lot since it has 0 cooldown)

3:1 str dex
and bit of con
Scout is only worth going C1 or C3, if you planning to stick to C1, get ranger C3 then you can get falconer/sr/rogue into musketeer

Stacke Stocades and Punji Stake are getting normal crit damage!

The easiest way to fill the pot is indeed to keep buying poison. You can also refill the pot using material drops from poison and grass type monsters.

The amount of poison consumed by skills is different for each skill and is listed on the skill tool-tips. I usually have to refill it every hour or so, and poison (sold as an item called Venom) costs 1,000 silver each if I remember correctly. At the moment the servers are down so I cannot check.

The poison pot can also take in boss monster cards to change the effect of Throw Gu Pot. You can only use elemental type boss cards though, not demon or devil or any non-elemental type cards.

And of course, no problem. Ask me anything!

I’m going Archer -> Archer -> Archer -> Scout -> Fletcher -> Fletcher -> Fletcher
Already put a bunch of points in DEX though, any thought ? I’m new to the game and I played this game blind, afraid of bad character/needing to restart a new char but don’t want to follow people build.

Hi guys, very new to this style of game and looking for some advice with the build I might go for.

The idea is to keep Swift step on 100% uptime while using the pet as a distraction (and stunner) so I can force myself to the targets rear.

Any improvements would be helpful

Oh, that’s a bummer. I tend to shun away from classes that require specific items for their skills because I’m too stingy, so I often decide to “save up” on the material and end up never using the skill at all.

So if “Venom” costs 1000 silver each, that means each Needle Blow costs 5000 silver to shoot (5 poison cost taken from tosbase)? Oh well, count me out then. I don’t even want to buy wood pieces for a Dievdirbys, imagine spending that much on each skill!

Thank you for showing me the Wugushi way is not for me.
