In practice this will probably be purely cosmetic/stat stick just like Corsair3 getting to use pistols. There’ll be no practical purpose for using the sword to attack in melee as a squishy ranged character.

Is it wierd that swordies have a 30% resistance against ailments when sprinting but the mount class of sword (cataphract) can’t sprint while hackapel can?

Probably because whilst using rush or whatever the skill is called these days gives you almost double that resistance ?
