Guard's graveyard purpose?

I just expended like 1 hour or more in this place:

  1. Get a blue soul
  2. Bring it to the face. If you have X amount, then go step 3. If no, go step 1. X is totally random every time
  3. Go and find a glowing place. You get a RANDOM watcher’s part of the set. There are 4. Now, go to step 1

There’s somethin else? It’s really an,… infinite farming spot for watcher’s parts? No boss? That coffin at the end? Nothing?

Also, it’s too bad designed… takes a lot of time doin the same boring and long task. I was swordman, i could sprint, i cant imagine other classes doing it just by walking

A couple mobs there drop some pretty good equipment but other than that yes, thats all there is to it. Royal Mausoleum Construction Chapel also has a unique mechanic that spawns tons of monsters.
Also a couple of those Watcher parts arent so bad, they have pretty good stats for their level.

Yea, but in my case im cloth, to get MResist against mages, so no use xD

What can i do with those parts? Someone buys it, at what price? Cause store only gives me 1k silver for them, and the market is dead…

I believe theres a boss called Abomination can be found here…I met one when I was lvl40+ and collecting the watcher set here. Not too sure anyway

I heard that Abomination is a world boss (very rarely pops up).

I found and fought with it in first Guards Graveyard area. It was in the wider section of the long entrance corridor.
The fight dropped me a box from which I got “Saw” - 2 handed sword (lv.15+ 48-89 damage).
Heard that Abomination may also spawn in the last room of the second area.

One thing that bugs me about that place is the kill counter thing, that goes up to 10. What’s that for?

There’s also something very interesting I’ve found out.
There are those 9 pool things in second area.
If you place a bonfire at one of them, it disperses the pool and -all- mobs receive some kind of debuff. It’s tooltip says that enemies are weakened and you should kill them.
This debuff stacks if you put bonfires at more pools.
I’m curious if anything happens if you place nine bonfires at the same time. But getting 9 people to test it out is quite the hassle. : <

The spirit orbs you see (blue) can be brought to an NPC in the corner near the Goddess statue. When you have bring 8 of these (1 by 1) to that npc you will get a buff that lets you see hidden treasure chests that Contain pieces of an equipment Set (that has a Set bonus against demon enemies).

The abomination World Boss is also here, which drops some equip but more importantly the Abomination Boss Card for any interested Sorcerers.

Kraucus Mace is also found here which gives additional Damage to the Bokors Effigy.

Completionists will also want to get the Collection chest here.
