Growth exp questions

I’m a bit confused with how this works.

I’m trying to get to level 13 growth for the rank reset voucher (botched main), but I’m currently level 8 and my growth level is not gaining anymore exp. Is the only way to increase growth level by doing rank quests and increasing my teams level? If so, how much exp does increasing my team level give me (though I feel like that’s purely relative)?

I’m also worried if growth/explore resets every 1st of the month like ranked points. Will this happen or not? Because getting to growth 13 sure seems like a mammoth task for me right now. And if it’s not going to reset in a couple of days then I’d love to stress less about it.

And so I’m guessing leveling growth differs from account to account seeing as some people can have more than one pet and others can have more than 3 classes. Burrrr?!
