As i mentioned it’s pretty much pay for convience. The real P2W isn’t really here.

Since all of the items can still be gotten by players themselves. The real P2W take a look at maple cubbing system when it started.
THAT IS literally P2W. You can’t afford NX cubes gtfo. You can only drool on the legendary items etc. that gives you up to 39% all stats. Free players are pretty much trash O_o…

It was only implemented later that players can get it via bossing cubes and etc.

P2W is such a vague line this days between players.

My p2w definition is practically game breaking attainability through money means and unattainable for free players.

550% transcend etc isn’t really that unrealistic it just take time.

Be it you accept it or not it’s here and it will be here eventually .
I am more curious on the after effects of this. Are they gonna fix the dam system or not.

His metaphor fits perfectly.

This kid has a ferrari. You aren’t literally doing anything with him, but you are competing with him in in society. It indirectly implies that he is rich, that he’ll do well in life, that he doesn’t have to try to as hard as a normal person. And since it’s been stated that his dad is indeed rich, that means that kid will also be rich. And it’s extremely likely that he will also grow up to be rich and able to uphold that placement. He’ll have a better education, and he doesn’t have to worry abo debt. People will respect him BECAUSE he is rich.

It goes on. That kid will be successful by simply being born in a better family. While someone else has to put crazy amounts of time and effort just to even scratch him.

What hau was essentially saying is that, this kind of logic just as bad as yours.

Is it a good idea for the rich to succeed and live easier while not putting as much effort? No.

Is it a good idea for someone to put all of their time just to barely reach the standards of said person, or possibly not even reaching it? No.

Not in my line of work, rich or not it doesn’t matter. You got no skill you got no chance. People respect me because of my skills not how much $$$ i have.

Skillful dude vs Rich boy , who do you think will earn more ‘respect’ ?

You can go on and on, but at the end of the day, more money doesn’t always mean more skills. Better school =/= more skills.

Rich boy wins. Rich boy has better access to resources and a better future than a skilled but average income household person.

Doesn’t matter how good you are. If you don’t have the money to support what you do, no one cares. Not to mention a rich person will have way more opportunities to out grow the skilled person anyways.
