I said take ideas and concept, I didn’t say copy. Take a look at those images that you posted, naturally both of the artists have their OWN style of designing but it doesn’t mean that the ToS artist can’t take some fashion concept/ideas from the BnS artist, vice versa. It’s not an insult. If it was, most popular concept artists would be homeless already. It’s only an insult if some turtle miscomprehended my message and thought that I expected the ToS artist to make a “CLONE” of the BnS costumes. Wrong, wrong, wrong.
The game is influenced by Lithuanian culture but there’s a good number of classes that aren’t from Lithuania-probably all- and some aren’t even from Europe. If you followed up on the blogs they went AROUND THE WORLD to gather ideas and concept in order to make ToS, one of them is Nepal… The reason why they use historical classes and themes from countless countries across the world was to show the “diversity” in the game. As a developer you don’t need to base ANY OF YOUR CLASSES accordingly to their historical background but ToS did. With that being said, ToS is exposed to many different culture because of the variety of job classes…I don’t see why people like you must think that ToS have to be a purely European game. Quite a narrow way of thinking.
