“Desperate measures for player retention” ?

I think we should be happy. Im pretty sure we all thought Silute would forever be stuck in NA. IMC just showed it is world class.

As well as the current Siluteans (Mostly brazilians) being very excited for the relocation, it is possible to see in the social media several old players commenting on their return and getting hyped up.

Whether it was a desperate measure or not it does not matter, it has been implied several times that moving the SA back to where it should belong is the right decision, and they did finally take it into consideration. That’s awesome.

Two friends of mine have confirmed returning to the game and that makes me very happy. It will be my first time playing TOS under the 200s ms too so I am really looking forward to it.

I was actually hoping we wouldn’t be relocated back to SA and instead we would be able to join NA servers in instanced dungeons/missions, but whatever.

your SA queues are busier than NA ones AFAIK

I think so?

In popular queues, such as Siaulai and the current Event Dungeon it’s very likely to find a party within your range in SA, but less populated ones like d200,d230,d260 broadcast invites are required.

I’m only able to do my dailies past the peak time (during the evening) but the wait is rather small.

I think this is great from them. Since the beginning SA server has had a lot of issues so they deserve something nice for once!

Besides I think it was proven at the beginning that SA has the potential to be the biggest international market for this game. Hopefully the server will work fine in SA and the overall population will surely rise.

It’s a lot worse on NA

To get a dungeon outside of the weekend you either have to spam shout or wait indefinitely.

Unless you pay 1m for an instance clear, then people magically show up

Grind parties only on weekends too outside of the occasional Alemeth

That reality is not much different in Silute, though it’s not as intense.

And yes, people indeed magically show up when you have instance clears lmao.

Cause the population is split between 2 servers needlessly.

This sounds xenophobic/racist

The dungeon queue is cross-server though.

the Shout channel isnt though.

And then, after relocation, we’re back to getting stuck during loading again.

They said they were going to move the server not do anything about fixing CommanderLoadFail or Maximum Server Capacity Exceeded.
