You only have 7 ranks, you can choose up to 8 ranks now.
If you are using this for the PP+Ice wall combo, I rather you choose runecaster than wizard 2 instead. Just practise to not depend on surespell when executing the combo.
If you want another way to ensure that PP isn’t cancellable, you can go Kino3, but then you will only have 1 last class left to choose
