This bug was first reported by me on october 2016. Seen by IMC i have published it here many times.


Everyday i’m a little bit closer to unveiling the whole truth behind it. For now I know how it works, but i cannot truly understand why it works.

I will kill Golden Whale at Nevellet Quarry 1F Ch2 on NA klaipeda when i’m around.

I would love to talk to IMC personally in order to help them solve the issue.

PD: the second most abussive thing in the game is druid2 transforms with Tipio or Ultanun poisons doing cap damage every 4 seconds.

Needs some setup time for it to work perfectly but it has some other conditions map dependant, but yes I consider it abusable taking into account new world bosses are gonna have 400M HP. And setting up time could be only 8-12 minutes

Sigh If you ever find the way to replicate the bug reliably, post it step by step or else it will be abused by a few players because IMC will never fix it.

I don’t believe making a step by step guide is gonna prevent it from being abused. I rather call IMC’s attention with sensationalist videos of 1 shots. Anyway I’m aware so far of only another guy who managed to replicate it in EU server.

It won’t be abused by a selected few, it will be abused by everyone, forcing IMC to fix it. Kind of what happened with Sorien not so long ago.

May I suggest, (if you haven’t already) send the step-by-step guide via a ticket. If you can get the bug seen by a developer who is able to re-create it, I am sure they will fix it.

Posting the steps publicly will probably just lead to tons of problems as people race to abuse this bug as much as they can before it gets patched.

Doing as you said in your OP and bringing awareness to the bug by 1-shotting the Golden Stone Whale a few times (please be kind and don’t do this when it is close to full HP and people haven’t finished showing up yet though) is probably the best thing to do. I imagine after the fist time you do it people will flock to the forums and spam it with calls for you to be nerfed :P.

Why do you think this is abusive? Ticking 555,555 damage every 4 seconds is relatively weak compared to what geared DPSers can do. With this, it would take an hour to do enough damage with the poison to kill the whale.

Probably upset at some druid doing more damage than him on some boss since he has to abuse a bug to do tons of damage while the druid is just using the poison’s mechanic. Like you said though a geared character with high transcendence can do way more in that time. Plenty of those geared characters hunt World Bosses worth a damn.

That poison damage is based on max HP of the person or monster that it is applied to. It doesn’t do 555,555 damage to everything, it will hit the damage cap on a level 280 or higher boss since they have a decent max HP to do so. Since bosses HP is lower than it was in the past it seems powerful right now when in fact it is not. When bosses get updated with higher HP, it will be nothing. Of course abusing this bug will still be something.

but you don’t need to be geared at all to do the cap damage. You are doing incredibly high damage, on 0 gears and 0 dedication compared to people who spent a shitton of time to gear up. And you damage is more constant with druid poison.

@huehuehue I tried it out myself during rank reset, not like i’m upset about it but it’s simply not fair. It’s the second most important exploit though cause it’s a 0 effort (just need to be the class), needs 0 gear, and does an overwhelming amount of damage. If you believe someone with a build not focussed around offensive power should be able to do cap damage every 4 seconds, then jokes on you.

Since when was doing 0.11% of a boss’s HP every 4 seconds considered OP?..Are you really complaining about the poison just because 555k is a big number to you, or are you just trolling?

Please tell me what monster in game other than this dumb event boss has enough HP for druids to hit cap damage with no investment. You need to put things into perspective before you go around calling things “abusive.”

Who exactly is disadvantaged by the damage druids are doing with poison? The damage is certainly not high enough to kill the stone whale quickly and prevent others from participating.

If anything, the 555k damage per 4 seconds makes up for the 30 people AFKing on the sidelines, just waiting for others to do the work and kill the boss for them.

Mirtis, Helgasercle, Blut, Nuale, Rexipher, Zaura, Prison Cutter, and i don’t know if 10M hp bosses also get it. Stone whale doesn’t matter at all. Those monsters have from 30M to 70M HP. Poison does cap damage on them, i’ve seen it. Takes 2-3 minutes to kill a world boss, alone with poison,

Are you seriously defending the fact that someone with no gears or complete tank should be doing cap damage every 4 seconds? What are you? Druid2?

555,555 damage every 4 seconds would take over 3 minutes to take down 30 million HP (math it out). Even longer for 70 million HP.

Just based on how your numbers are flat out wrong, I’m not sure if I believe you about the poison capping damage on all those bosses.

Yes, because so little druid transformations are actually useful, and this one in particular is only useful for bossing.

So very little people even hunt for world bosses anymore, and even fewer are druids, so aren’t you over-exaggerating the impact this skill has on gameplay?

Excuse me for not mathing, but 2-3 min vs 3.30min ain’t that much difference for a rough guess.

Welp if you don’t think a character with no weapon doing cap damage constantly is an exageration there is no way you can understand the impact of this skill.

But you were saying it takes 2-3 minutes to kill a world boss with the poison alone, even though the bosses you listed had health pools ranging from 30mil all the way to 70 mil. You made a blanket statement that turned out to be off, so it makes me skeptical of whether the poison is even capping damage on those bosses like you say. I guess even if it wasn’t capping damage, it would be doing a decent amount with just one skill but that’s more because of what they did to World Boss HP than the skill itself being OP.

Now your argument about it requiring no investment so the skill must inherently be unfair…A naked Oracle can kill any (non-resistant) mob with death sentence, and Pardoner’s Decatose can also instakill monsters with no gear investment (some monsters have over 500k hp and they can be one-shotted). Are these skills abusive too?

That sentence doesn’t even make sense? I’m not saying you’re overexaggerating because the poison doesn’t have bossing potential, I’m saying calling such a niche skill that nobody else has even bothered to complain about “the second most abusive thing in the game” is an exaggeration.

I never knew the game needed to be saved from the abuse of ungeared druid2’s running around and monopolizing bosses with their ability to kill them in 2-3 minutes (sarcasm)…
