What does increasing the level of Gold Bell Shield do? Other than costing more SP of course.

Reduces cooldown by 1s per skill level. This change was implemented on KTOS on January 12 2017, so it should be live on itos server too.

Another question for you: does upper level (taoist skill) have synergy with chrotasmata and carnivory?
Hi Gexmmlin13. It works for chortasmata + carnivory on flying. I remember some time ago it was bugged and cannot apply Rash debuff from chortasmata on flying. I don’t know if it was fixed for itos yet.
If you are wondering about druid + taoist, it is viable. Druid2 taoist3 (cleric2 krivis3):
This is the challenge mode map choice for classes which suffer vs flying enemies. All enemies are ground. This location is near a warp statue but squire’s basecamp (to increase buff duration) is unavailable here (Astral tower first floor).

And I know that build. Cleric2-krivis3-druid2-taoist2 was my first and only taoist build (but I rank resetted into kabbal3 lol…).
Now that chrotasmata got buffed, I just thought I may start over another taoist, but this time I will max upper level and no tri-disaster.
