God Smash vs PearOfAnguish for PvP (as Chaplain-Inq build)

Hey,

I don’t have much experience in PvP and I need your help.

I dont think you can go auto attacking people in PvP, right? So, when Malleus and Wheel are on cooldown, I have absolutly 0 damage capability because I went C2->P3->CHAP->PD->INQUISITOR. I was thinking about upgrading God Smash instead of PoA because it is a consistent damage. Do you think it is viable for chap builds or should I just go with PoA?

PoA scales better while God Smash doesn’t look that good with 4 points in it,

I’m a C2->P3->Chap->Oracle->Inquisitor with basically full SPR, and I don’t see much point in leveling PoA or God Smash. My AAs do more than God Smash, even with a crit, so I don’t ever use it unless I’m bored and want to try smashing something for 10k in one hit.

My opinion is that unless you go str/dex inquis, God Smash is hardly worth spending points on. I’m beginning to think it’s a better idea to hold onto the points for rank 9.

I was thinking that with Skull smasher and red gems things would be different but…

That -is- possible. I’m only level 300 and still going strong with my 5-hammer of justice, so it’s possible it may become more useable with a real weapon. :smiley: Here’s hoping others chime in with their own experiences!

Yes with a highly upgraded and/or trans weapon you will get a ton of mileage from pears and smash.

I would recommend 1 in pears and 4 in smash, 5 malleus and 5 wheel.

P3 -> Chap auto-attacks has a ton of damage due to SPR scaling, but once you get into the higher levels of equipment, your skills will start to be more effective.

Also, for PVP ChapInquis you may want to consider fitting Kabbalist in your build for Revenge7, even if it means dropping cleric2.

After some research and testing I think i`ll do just that. The % damage increase changes everything.

About Kabbalist, i dont think I can do that, id have to choose between PD or Kabba, and since i’m trying to be a support PD is mandatory

I also think that God Smash have a very special PvE utility. You can hit the wheel when there are 500 monster above it :grin:.
