Glad I didn't do both starting area quests lines

With the addition of the Orsha questlines, i see people suggesting things like doing both of the quests lines so you dont have to grind. I can see how this is beneficial if you want more xp cards.

I heard these suggestions but i chose to ignore them and avoid the other starting area because i remember in CBT, I hated the fact that I had to do everything over again in the exact same way with a new character.

I just wanted to say It makes leveling my second character much more bearable because everythings new and by the time i get through this one, I can alternate back to the other quest lines with my next ones.

I hope they add more actually, maybe give you options on what to do during certain quests and it sends you to a different area or something.

Anyone else doing it this way or is everyone doing both quest lines?

Well first I finished klaipeda quests up to royal mausoleum 5f, then started orsha quests… It was great, even more for the 3 stat points that some quests give. But for exp you don’t really have to do all the quests, i’m at level 110 and still getting lv5 exp cards, still finishing orsha quests.

it’s actually really dependant of your class. As an archer i had no problem to grind but class like support cleric or cc C3 path wizard would want to do both quest line as they have hard time grinding solo.

I’ve done both questlines on two of my characters.
But like @supercedre stated if youre using a low dps class its much easier to do both maps rather than grinding out which is why i did it.

i’ve done both lines on most of my characters. it’s a REALLY huge bump in exp at early levels.
i missed it on my first character… and she was barely keeping even with the level of maps following her quests.
i “doubled up” on later characters, and now it’s more of a problem to not fly right past the recommended levels.

i mean i love that there’s the option to stick to one side or the other and follow a different storyline for each.

it would be amazing to me if there were like a dozen starting towns, and we could pick any two or three… and even better, if the choices of towns interacted with each other to form a “personalized” interlinked storyline, specific to those towns.

for 5 towns, picking any 2… that would be something like 20 possible storylines.
for a dozen towns, picking any 3, that would be over 1300 potential storylines.
… of course, this would be an insane programming and storywriting nightmare.

if you dont have a token, you might want to do both

heck, do both simply for less grinding, token or not.

Well, It actually ended up being more difficult to level when starting at orsha. Maybe it was because of my class choice, idk.

So, i ended up rushing through the main quest in klaipeda so i could do the tenet chapel quests.

I didn’t need to do this when i started at klaipeda though.

That sounds like an awesome idea. I hope IMC sees this and considers it. After all this release stuff gets sorted out.

They could start by just adding one more starting area and make some linking quests between the areas and add more over time.

Nope, did both as Ranger.
Helped A LOT.

I’ve been doing them just because I want to do everything in game. xD Only achievements I’m bypassing until later maybe is monster kills. I haven’t used Orsha as a main leveling point however, I play a swordsman and it’s nice to get that Korean mindless grind on. I wouldn’t say a wizard class has to do them either, I know someone who can solo grind quite well.

It’s great the sheer amount of options you have for leveling.

I constantly switch back and forth constantly to complete all the maps at 100%. The completionist in me can’t help it. Plus it also helps to complete the adventure journal by coming across new mobs and zones. I see what you’re saying that it makes alt less of a hassle so it’s up to you.

I simply did both lines because of pure will.
Started with Orsha up to 90ish and realized that you obtained seal of space from klaipeda path, and therefore couldn’t afford to miss anything.
Why not do both, unless you’re in a hurry?
I’m a completionist, and wants to leave nothing undone. Besides it increases your quest record if you ever have a goal to maximize it.
