Officers are needed in guilds that can have the same powers as the Templar.
The terrible times of day that GVG are currently set to mean that my Templar can not be there to start the guild battles.
I would like to delegate officers in the guild that can start these fights without the Templar.
This is sensible. Making 1 player mandatory to absolutely everything a guild needs to do really limits the guild to working around only 1 person rather than working around the entire guild.
