You know, I kind of agree with OP, and not just because we are both descendants of House Targaryen.

Giving someone a gift only to take it away is great way to lose someone’s trust, and IMC could really do with some more trust-building.

They definitely shouldn’t give everyone the same compensation that was accidentally handed out, but giving out a little “2 Month Anniversary Compensation”… or something, to everyone after taking the Bot Classifier Compensation away from so many players, would have gone a long way.

Perhaps players like @Rhaegar wouldn’t feel ‘cheated’ because of this accident then.

There will always be people that complain.

If they didn’t remove the wrong compensation then people from other servers would complain about “Hey why does that server get free tokens?”. Remember how many threads we already had about people being unhappy that SEA has to pay less than them?

Things like 2 month anniversary compensation could be done, but it’s not something you can do quickly when you realize a GM pressed a wrong button, you will have to discuss this with the higher ups first before even being able to talk about it. But if that compensation contains less items, then people will still complain. Also it would need to be done on all servers. You know how much money IMC would lose if they gave 50000 players 15 days token? Not to mention the hundreds of support tickets about people complaining about the token not giving trades. They need that money to improve the game too.

I don’t need the compensation back, I just want to know if anything will be done for those who managed to claimed and benefit from the error of IMC which I got news, everyone who managed to claim on time abused upon seeing news that the compensation was an error.

they took back the one still in the team mail, i dont think they’re going to remove the ones that were claimed

What they should’ve done is give the wrongly banned players ADDITIONAL compensation and let everyone else keep theirs.

Everyone will be happy then.
But that’s crazy so yea take them back i guess rofl.

Did you guys even read the whole post at all? The reading comprehension of the lot of you, jesus.

I’m not arguing about the compensation being gone I’m not arguing about the compensation at all, what I’m arguing about is the situation could have been handled better, I dont care if its a 15 day token or a single mesely potion, what I care about is that even accidentally, IMC gave players a bit of hope, and instead of letting the players keep that tiny sliver of hope, they decided to torn their hearts instead. Lots of people w’ere celebrating in shouts about getting the compensation thinking it was because of them reporting bots, they we’re rejoicing, they we’re celebrating, because the fight agianst bots isnt just about IMC and them, its about us too.

tldr, for those lazy ass ■■■■■■■ shits. Its not about the compensation, its about how the situation was handled, its about how it alienated players.
