Getting into to grind partys without peltasta?

Just a quick leveling question, for grind partys do I absolutely need peltasta to get into partys ?

I want to build something with corsair instead of peltasta, is jolly roger looked after for partys ?

No, you can use some quests as SB if that matter, or Jolly Roger.

let me put like this

without pelta: you look for parties

with pelta: parties look for you

hell, pelta1 is all that you need for pve( its also the only useful thing for pve in rank 2). Just get both, thats what iā€™m doing for my fencer wannabe.

Yeah, getting Peltasta1 is not a big investment. If you cant even do that, then you passed up your opportunity to party up at your own decision. Those without pelt are solo or PVP builds that shouldnt bother people trying to do meaningful group PVE.

Apart from that, Pelt1 is not a problem even for soloing. You can call for mobs instead of having to walk to them.
