Should Wizzies get DEX now after the Combat System Changes? I feel that my skills takes too long to animate (no cast spells like Earthquake, Ice Spike) and I’m not sure if DEX affects this. Also with the new DEX it now affects “Normal Attack Speed (some skills)”
What are your thoughts, guys?
ASPD (Attack Speed) is not cast speed.
As for speed of basic attack, it depend on the weapon you use, but it’s minimal, Staffs take longer to cast than rods/swords/maces.
If you will put DEX on your wiz, be ready to feel pretty useless, unless you are going Chrono Enchanter and plan to use off-hand (dagger) to attack. Even so, still bad.
I haven’t seem yet an efficient build for that kind of stuff.
Skills which are affected by aspd have a special icon in description. Just like Double Punch on monk or Skyliner on Highlander.
