Hmm donât really have a high level wizard though, wiz is like no. 5 in my list to get all my chars to R8. Will clericâs magic damage suffice?
I do know that some monsters have insanely high mdef, but it is just some monsters and not all of them. Do try not to exaggerate, it doesnât really contribute anything.
Heal and Cure lv60 attribute cost around 812k respectively. Really sad that Inquisitorâs Malleus Maleficarum doesnât even have a damage attribute.

Most monsters have high mdef or double of pdef after this. Which obsolete lower tiers skill damage.
Esp like 290 dungeons you will hit those mages at 1 damage without 3k + magic .
Itâs not really a exaggerate. Even in Fantasy Lib the new 315 instance . My magnus with 35 Hits 1 damage on those flying mutant mobs. Thereâs always this few mobs that have extremely high mdef. Which will cause havoc to you.
Lighting spells does 1 dmg to all âearthâ types lol. (unless you can hit 4k magic)
The only one that does suffix minor damage is plague vapor + incinerate 2k per tick / 3.3k on incinerate (50 att)
my magic attack is 1.3k.
I am only hitting those vikas at 2.2k with Plauge vapor ( 1.6k magic + 1.3k magic ) magic weakness. It says heck alot why FC is dealing 1 dmg.

they will still need a little con just nto as much better for High INT. With 500 Int base you are hitting 1k Magic Attack stand alone.
New rods + 10 upwith transcend 200% and up can give you up to 2k magic and more.
This is the alternative most Elememe can only go now. Ultra high investment in weapon.
If they still want to do damage atm the only way is through New RODS + high transcend. Until they implement magic pen or ignore defense. DPS AOE Wizard suffers the most through R8.

Yeah I do understand that, which is why gears are needed and we are required to farm them in order to be more efficient to level in the new zones.
As we all can see R8 is out for less than a week. It makes no sense in a game developerâs point of view that all of the new content can be done within a week with gears which are in the 220s. Hence they put more barriers of entry for the high level maps and dungeons.
We will soon get there where everything becomes efficient and easy, just not this fast.

You have inquisitor which is a full R8 DPS rank designed for these new monsters, not to mention a debuff skill which cuts enemy INT/SPR which helps magic attack. Other magic DPS like PD2 and almost the entire wizard tree do not have such high attack base from their skills.

Chill bru he means that they can still deal more damage than 1 but , he agrees itâs still kinda insignificant until people reach the higher peaks.

People are used to % reduction. ToS uses flat. After you start going over the defense you scale faster relative to a % reduction system.
And the main complaint is Wizards? And itâs the Wizard builds with a the highest matks per second? That means they are the highest scaling by gear and stats.
Reaction is knee jerk. Few months down the road itâill swing the other way and itâill be swordies talking about being hung from trees again. Ice and lightning ammyâs already have place holders if they deem necessary. So the drama queens going off here are moot.

spent 30m for some mats to craft a windia rod, making it +9 with no fail, 2 sockets and lv2 transcedence.
sold a lot of items getting 40m tomorrow but i think i will stop at +10 and go for lv4 transcendence. +9 to +15 will cost 27m without fail and honestly I dont think it is worth itâŚ
