Will the items from the box disappear after the event?

Items that has (14days) or (30days) will expire. the box will probably be deleted if un-opened after the event. Items that has no expiration will not be deleted.

I had an item from active player event…cube expired but i could still open the contents. This might be the case with the get ahead event boxes?
