Spear Throw sucks, meng. You have to pick your spear to get your dmg back.
if u use it in Meelee range u dont need to. Its spammable. I currently spam it

i mained a hop in kTOS to 210, i played with skyliner spam, but after the changes getting to hop 3 and spear chucking at your feet works pretty well, the bind attribute can make it super usefull, youll have tons of mobs locked up next to you for ez times, but the bonus sp cost can be hefty

not 100% sure about the bonus on the spear but i think its multiplicative with the atribute damage
eg.
spear chuck does 100 damage + 100% from geras = 200
200 + 100% from attribute
so 400 damage
it could be additive, but that will still give tons of damage
eg.
100 damage + 100% from geras + 100% from attribute
so thats
100 + 200%
300 damage.

Zega +8 vs Brandish, right now at +7 Zega, base brandish stats beat zega out for sure but at +8 Zega starts to hit the base brandish teir. The kicker
+2 to all Hoplite Skills… thats crazy when you think about it, thats monster gems +2 skill to Each hoplite skill, of course for non hoplite this does not matter.
Hop c2 means you can get Finestra (20 bonus crit rate) Pierce, Stabbing, Spear Lunge, Spear Throw (for C3), the extra 2 levels work out to be a modest increase in the damage of those skills and esential makes my c2 Hoplite a c2.40 Hoplite.
While Brandish might be endgame goal at + levels I doubt at this time I could mange to aquire a brandish and even +1/2 it.
Cost is not to be discounted either where brandish is well over 3mil right now.
As long as you’re level 80 you can farm a Brandish recipe easily (relatively… could still take a lot of time lol) and craft it for under 1m. I dedicated like 4 hours one night to farming the recipe and around 600-650k buying the mats off the marketplace for it. This past weekend mithril was going for 90k and today I got the shinbones for 80k each, just gotta watch for the price drops.
Its really not that hard to get, just the recipe may take a significant time investment. Good luck with farming if you’re going to give it a go!
Wow shinbones price dropped a lot and brandish recipe price rose a lot, I made my brandish when the recipe was 400k ea on the auction house and the shinbones was selling for 200k ea, it took me 3 nights to farm those shinbones got really sick of hogma warriors.
