Configuration settings should not get reset on login or zone change. It would be nice if ctrl for targeting locking didn’t reset every relog. It’s really fun to relog and wonder why you keep targeting new mobs instead of finishing the ones you’ve started, then realizing you need to hit ctrl again and trying to do that quickly while half the field is chasing you.
Chat settings should also stick. If I set my window to party or normal, it shouldn’t reset to all constantly. After sending a message, the mode should return to combat mode. Some kind of “chat mode” could possibly be introduced for when players want to sit in town and chat. Another option would be to put the chat field inside the chat box. It’s frustrating in combat to type a quick message to your party, then be stuck in chat mode while trying to spam skills.
