General kTest Thread

Just got a question from the OBT Preview:

Guilds can declare war with each other. Warring guilds can destroy each other’s guild tower or PVP the enemy members on fields.

Whats the benefit of destroying a tower, and whats the penalty for the affected guild? How long is the cooldown to place a new one? or the cost?

IMC said themselves there’s little benefit to destroying a Guild Tower. The penalty for the affected guild is that they’ve lost a guild tower that costs 5 million Silver. (At least, to my knowledge.)

The cost to place a new one is 5 million Silver, you buy Guild Permits from Uska in Klaipeda.

I bet consequences of wars will be relevent during Guilds/Wars event
Otherwise like it mentioned no benefit from warring

ok, so theres not acctually any cooldown, so rich guilds could just keep placing new ones?

I’d have to get 10m to test that out myself to see if there’s a cooldown.

If you do test it out I would also love to know if when broken how it affects your garden/pets being raised/anyone inside the guild area.

I’m also curious, can any guild just destroy it or does ‘at war’ refer to some sort of hostility mechanic?

Guilds can declare war on each other, that’s how it is done.

I’m not sure of how this specifically works. I would hope at least that one guild declares war, and the other has to accept.

Does pistol inflict on hit effects like restrain? and what is its maximum range?

Treat Pistols on Swordsman like they are for Archers.

I’d assume they would apply on-hit affects like any weapon though. I can’t personally test it since I don’t have Corsair C3 but @Riunia does. I’ll ask next time they’re on kTEST.

Also, @Riunia, next time you’re able to get on kTEST, mind checking how Pistols works with Corsair dual-wield skills, and DWA with Pistols and Sword attacks?

There’s a new Swordsman C3 attribute for Bash that was added on Dec 3rd.

Bash: Specialised
The damage of the skill [Bash] increases by 28 per attribute level.

They do indeed apply on-hit effects.

Works normally with all Dual-Wield skills using Pistol (they made it so you could use them with the last patch now). DWA doesn’t work with Pistol sadly, you could still use it though but the cancel doesnt apply.

Do the skill animations for Hexen Dropper and Dust Devil look any different with a Pistol or are you just stabbing people with a Pistol?

And that’s a shame with DWA, I guess it’s Dagger exclusive for now but maybe it’ll change.

I just hope Dragoon’s skills can be use while mounted in the future :sparkles:

Just stabbing people with a Pistol, nothing changes in terms of animation.

That’s pretty hilarious. Hopefully it changes.

Also, if you’re a Corsair, Pistols now show up as equippable (they’re not red), but you still need the C3 attribute to actually equip them.

btw i wanted to ask another thing, you may have covered it in the topic that got closed, but anyways.
does Templar get any attributes?
i’d be really intrested to know.

The class master is Uska, but he does not provide any attributes.

There should be no attributes available according to the Class Page on the Nexon ToS site.

ah, thats unfortunate, but doesnt change anything, will be going Templar either way =D

Seems there’s a bug with the Watering Can.

It can ‘hit’ enemies based on your AoE Attack Ratio, and then the next skill (normal hits don’t work) will hit all of them.

It seems only melee skills are affected, projectiles/magic skills aren’t.

I have 4 AoE Attack Ratio there, and it will affect more if I used Finestra (+3 AoE Attack Ratio).

It also works from a very far range after you’ve ‘hit’ an enemy with it…
